เพื่อป้องกันการสูญเสียข้อมูลหรือเสีย Partition Table ให้ใช้ Safely Remove ก่อนถอดเสมอ หากได้ Warning 'This device is currently in use...' ให้ Restart คอมพิวเตอร์ก่อน

วิธีที่ 1: ใช้ Check Disk Utility (chkdsk)

  1. บันทึก Drive Letter จากข้อผิดพลาด เช่น "You need to format the disk in drive H:" → Drive Letter คือ H
  2. คลิกขวา Windows Button > Command Prompt (Admin)
  3. พิมพ์: chkdsk (driveletter:) /r (เปลี่ยน Drive Letter ตามจริง) ตัวอย่าง: chkdsk H: /r
  4. ถ้าถาม Recover Files ให้ Yes
  5. ไม่ได้ผล ลอง: chkdsk (driveletter:) /f

ในหลายกรณี chkdsk แก้ You need to format the disk error ได้ แต่ไม่ได้ผล ก็ต่อวิธีถัดไป

วิธีที่ 2: ใช้ TestDisk Utility

  1. ดาวน์โหลด TestDisk: https://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk_Download

  3. ดับเบิลคลิก testdisk_win.exe เปิด TestDisk
  4. หน้าจอแรก Select Create > Enter
  5. รอ TestDisk สแกน Connected Disks
  6. เลือก Unrecognized External USB Hard Drive (เช่น WD Ultra) > Enter
  7. เลือก Partition Table Type > Enter
  8. เลือก Analyze > Enter ให้ TestDisk วิเคราะห์หา Lost Partition Table Structure
  9. TestDisk แสดง Partition Structure ปัจจุบัน เลือก Quick Search > Enter
  10. หาก TestDisk หา Lost Partition ได้ กด "P" เพื่อตรวจสอบไฟล์ใน Partition นั้น
  11. 2 กรณีที่เกิดขึ้น:
    • เห็นรายการไฟล์ที่หายไป → กด "Q" กลับเมนูก่อนหน้า ไป Write Partition Structure Back to Disk
    • ไม่เห็นไฟล์หรือไฟล์เสีย → ทำ Deeper Search
  12. กด "Q" ออก กลับหน้าจอก่อนหน้า
  13. กด Enter อีกครั้ง
  14. กด Enter อีกครั้ง เพื่อ ทำ Deeper Search
  15. รอ TestDisk Analyzes Disk (อาจนาน)
  16. หลัง Deeper Search เสร็จ กด "P" อีกครั้ง ดูไฟล์
  17. เห็นไฟล์แล้ว กด "Q" กลับ ไปขั้นตอนถัดไป

Write Partition Structure Back to Disk

  1. หลังจดจำไฟล์ได้ กด Enter อีกครั้ง เพื่อกู้คืน
  2. เลือก Write Option > Enter เขียน Partition Data ที่พบไปที่ MBR (Master Boot Record) ของฮาร์ดดิสก์
  3. กด "Y" ยืนยัน
  4. Quit TestDisk (กด Q) > Restart PC
  5. หาก Windows Disk Check ปรากฏตอน Startup อย่าหยุดมัน
