วิธีที่ 1: ติดตั้ง Developer Mode ด้วยตนเอง
- Windows Key + I เปิด Windows Settings
- คลิก System เลือก Apps & features
- เลือก Manage Optional features บนสุด
- คลิก Add a feature
- เลื่อนหา Windows Developer Mode package คลิก Install
- รีบูท
- Windows Key + X เลือก Command Prompt (Admin)
- พิมพ์คำสั่งใน cmd Enter:
sc config debugregsvc start=auto sc start debugregsvc
- กลับไปหน้า For Developers Settings จะยังเห็น Error 0x80004005 แต่ควรเปิดใช้งาน Windows Device Portal และ Device Discovery ได้แล้ว
วิธีที่ 2: ปิด Custom Microsoft Software Update Services (SUS)
- Windows Key + R พิมพ์ regedit Enter เปิด Registry Editor
- ไป Registry Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU
- ดับเบิลคลิก UseWUServer ด้านขวา ตั้งค่าเป็น 0 เพื่อ Disable UseWUServer
- Windows Key + X คลิก Command Prompt (Admin)
- พิมพ์คำสั่งทีละบรรทัด Enter:
net stop wuauserv net stop bits net stop cryptsvc net start wuauserv net stop bits net stop cryptsvc
- ปิด Command Prompt รีบูท
