แก้ Windows Media Player เล่นไฟล์เพลง MP3 ไม่ได้ (Missing Codec)

Windows Media Player (WMP) เล่น MP3 ไม่ได้ แจ้ง: 「An audio codec is needed... Codec is missing... MP3 – MPEG Layer III (55) codec is not installed」 แม้ MP3 เป็นรูปแบบมาตรฐาน WMP ควรเล่นได้ สาเหตุ: Codec เสียหาย, WMP เสียหาย, DirectX Video Acceleration ปิด, Antivirus/Firewall บล็อก, หรือ Proxy ผิด

6 วิธีแก้ WMP เล่นไฟล์เพลง/วิดีโอไม่ได้

สร้าง Restore Point ก่อน

วิธีที่ 1: รัน Windows Media Player Troubleshooter

1. Win + R พิมพ์: msdt.exe -id WindowsMediaPlayerConfigurationDiagnostic Enter
2. กด Advanced > Run as administrator > Next
3. ให้แก้ไขอัตโนมัติ > Restart

วิธีที่ 2: เปิด DirectX Video Acceleration

1. เปิด WMP > กด Alt แสดงเมนู > Tools > Options
2. แท็บ Performance > ติ๊ก Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files
3. Apply > OK > รีสตาร์ท WMP

วิธีที่ 3: Re-register wmp.dll

1. Admin CMD: regsvr32 wmp.dll
2. Restart

วิธีที่ 4: Reinstall Windows Media Player 12 (Windows Features)

1. Win + X > Control Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off
2. ขยาย Media Features > เอาติ๊ก Windows Media Player ออก > Yes (Uninstall)
3. Restart
4. กลับไป Turn Windows features on or off > ติ๊ก Windows Media Player (และ Windows Media Center ถ้ามี) > OK
5. รอติดตั้งเสร็จ > Restart > ทดสอบเล่นไฟล์

วิธีที่ 5: ปิด Antivirus/Firewall ชั่วคราวทดสอบ

1. ปิด Antivirus (System Tray > Disable 15-30 นาที)
2. Control Panel > Windows Firewall > Turn Windows Firewall on or off > ปิดทั้ง Private/Public
3. ทดสอบเล่นไฟล์ > หาเล่นได้ = Antivirus/Firewall เป็นสาเหตุ > เพิ่ม Exception ให้ WMP
4. เปิด Antivirus/Firewall กลับทันที

วิธีที่ 6: เปลี่ยน Proxy Settings ใน WMP

1. WMP > Alt > Tools > Options > แท็บ Network
2. เลือก Protocol (HTTP, RTSP) > Configure > Autodetect proxy settings
3. OK ทุกอย่าง > Restart WMP
