เหมือนโปรโตคอลอื่นๆ WiFi Network Security Protocols ล้าสมัยไปเรื่อยๆ หากเชื่อมต่อ WiFi Network ได้ข้อความ – Wi-Fi network not secure ใน Windows 11/10 แสดงว่า Security ที่ WiFi Network ใช้เป็น Standard ต่ำหรือ Encryption เก่า ในโพสต์นี้พูดถึงว่า Windows 11/10 ปกป้องคุณโดยไม่ยอมรับ Standard เหล่านั้น
Wi-Fi Network Not Secure ใน Windows 11/10
ตั้งแต่ Windows 10 เมื่อเชื่อมต่อ Wi-Fi Network ที่ไม่ปลอดภัย คือ ใช้ WEP หรือ TKIP สำหรับ Encryption จะได้ข้อความนี้ Standard เหล่านี้เก่าและมี Flaw ที่รู้จัก แม้จะแก้ไม่ได้มากหาก Network ไม่อยู่ภายใต้การควบคุม แต่มีวิธีแก้เป็นไปได้:
- เชื่อมต่อ Network อื่น
- เปลี่ยน Security Settings ของ Router
- เปลี่ยน Router หรือ WiFi Network Device
1. เชื่อมต่อ Network อื่น
เวลาได้ข้อความนี้ บน Public Network ควร Disconnect หา Network อื่น หาไม่เจอ ใช้ Mobile Hotspot
2. เปลี่ยน Security Settings ของ Router
หากเป็นเจ้าของ Router หรือ WiFi Network ให้เปลี่ยน Encryption Type ปกติอยู่ที่ Configure WiFi Settings เช่น SSID, Password, Encryption ฯลฯ อย่าใช้ WEP หรือ TKIP หรือรวมกัน ดู Router Settings ด้านล่าง
ตัวเลือก WEP อยู่ใน Security Dropdown มีตัวเลือก TKIP แต่ควรใช้ AES AES เป็น Wi-Fi Encryption Solution ใหม่ ใช้โดย WPA2 Standard ที่ใหม่และปลอดภัย เนื่องจาก Mode ตั้งเป็น Auto Router จะ Config ใช้ AES เมื่อเลือก WPA/WPA2 Security
3. เปลี่ยน Router หรือ WiFi Network Device
หาก Router หรือ Access Point เก่าไม่รองรับ WPA/WPA2 และ AES ควร Upgrade เป็น Router ใหม่ที่รองรับ Security Standards และการปรับปรุงล่าสุด
คิดว่าถึงเวลา Upgrade WiFi Router ที่ออฟฟิศซึ่งไม่รองรับ WPA หากคุณเหมือนกัน ก็ถึงเวลา Upgrade แล้ว
