เราใช้ USB Devices ทุกวัน จากชาร์จโทรศัพท์ ไปจนถึง Flash Drive แต่บางครั้ง Windows โยนข้อผิดพลาด Unknown USB Device. หากเจอ Unknown USB Device, Set address failed ใน Device Manager ตามด้วยข้อความต่อไปนี้ บทความนี้มีวิธีแก้
ข้อความที่อาจตามมา:
- Device Descriptor Request Failed.
- Port reset failed.
- The device failed enumeration.
- Error code 43.
แก้ Unknown USB Device, Set address failed
วิธีแก้:
- เปลี่ยน Power Options
- อัปเดต/Rollback USB Drivers
- รัน USB Troubleshooter
- ปิด Fast Startup
- ปิด BitLocker Drive Encryption
1. ใช้ Power Options
กด WIN + R พิมพ์ powercfg.cpl Enter เปิด Power Options
เลือก Power Plan ที่ใช้ > Change Plan Settings
คลิก Change advanced power settings
ขยาย USB Settings ตั้ง USB selective suspend setting = Disabled ทั้ง On Battery และ Plugged in
OK > รีสตาร์ท
2. อัปเดต/Rollback/Disable Driver ที่เป็นสาเหตุ
Driver ที่มีปัญหาจะมีไอคอนเครื่องหมายแจ้งเตือนสีเหลืองใน Device Manager หากไม่มี ให้ดู Sub-entries ใต้ Universal Serial Bus controllers แนะนำอัปเดต โดยเฉพาะ Generic USB Hub driver
หรือ Uninstall แล้ว Reboot ให้ Windows ติดตั้งใหม่อัตโนมัติ

3. รัน USB Troubleshooter
รัน Hardware and Device Troubleshooter หรือ Windows USB Troubleshooter ตรวจสอบและแก้ไขอัตโนมัติ
4. ปิด Fast Startup
กด WINKEY + R พิมพ์ control เปิด Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options
เมนูซ้าย เลือก Choose what the power buttons do > Change settings that are currently unavailable
ยกเลิกติ๊ก Turn on fast startup (Recommended) > Save Changes
Reboot ตรวจสอบ
5. ปิด BitLocker Drive Encryption
ปิด BitLocker แล้วดูว่าแก้ได้ไหม
