แก้ "The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation" ใน Windows 10/8/7

คลิกขวาไฟล์ .INF เลือก Install แล้วเจอ The INF file you selected does not support this method of installation INF = Setup Information File (Text File แบ่ง Section ต่างๆ: Copy Files, Registry Entries) ใช้ติดตั้ง Driver หาก Error ต้องแก้

3 วิธีแก้

1. Re-download Driver จากเว็บ Manufacturer — ไฟล์เสียหายระหว่างดาวน์โหลด อาจ Error นี้
2. เช็ค Architecture Compatibility — Driver 32-bit ติดบน 64-bit (หรือกลับกัน) Error นี้ เช็ค: Win+R > msinfo32 > System Type
3. ติดตั้งผ่าน Device Manager (แนะนำ) — Device Manager > Right-click Device > Update Driver > Browse My Computer > Let Me Pick > Have Disk > Browse หาไฟล์ INF > OK

วิธี Device Manager + Have Disk จะติดตั้ง INF ได้โดยไม่ Error
