แก้ไข VPN ไม่ทำงานใน Windows 10 (L2TP, Always On VPN, No Internet)

Windows 10 1903/1909 มีบั๊กเกี่ยวกับ VPN Connection หลายอย่าง นี่คือวิธีแก้ไขปัญหาหลัก 3 ประการ

1. VPN L2TP ค้างที่ "Connecting..." ไม่ขึ้น prompt ใส่ Username/Password

Workaround: ใช้ rasphone.exe (เครื่องมือ Dial-up เก่า ที่ยังคงอยู่ใน Windows 10)

  1. Win+R > C:\Windows\System32\rasphone.exe
  2. เลือก VPN Connection > กด Connect
  3. จะมี Dialog ใส่ Username/Password ปกติ > กด Connect
  4. VPN จะเชื่อมต่อสำเร็จ

สร้าง Shortcut: C:\Windows\System32\rasphone.exe -d "VPN Name"

สาเหตุ: บั๊ก UI ของ Windows 10 VPN Client บล็อก Credential Prompt เกิดกับ L2TP เท่านั้น (PPTP ทำงานปกติ)

2. Always On VPN (AOVPN) – RASMAN Error (Event ID 1000, rasmans.dll, 0xc0000005)

แก้ไข:

  1. ติดตั้ง Update KB4522355 (Windows 10 1903) จาก Windows Update หรือ Microsoft Catalog
  2. หายังไม่หาย: Reinstall WAN Miniport Adapters
    • Device Manager > Network Adapters > Uninstall: WAN Miniport (IP), WAN Miniport (IPv6), WAN Miniport (PPTP)
    • Action > Scan for hardware changes
    • Settings > Network & Internet > Network Reset > Reset now
    • สร้าง VPN Connection ใหม่
  3. สาเหตุราก: Telemetry ถูก Disable ให้ Enable Telemetry:
    • GPO: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Data Collection and Preview Builds > Allow Telemetry = Enabled (1=Basic, 2=Enhanced, 3=Full)
    • Registry: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection\AllowTelemetry = 1, 2, หรือ 3
    • PowerShell: New-ItemProperty -Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection\' -Name AllowTelemetry -PropertyType DWORD -Value 1 -Force
    • Restart Service: Restart-Service RasMan -PassThru

3. ไม่มี Internet หลัง Disconnect VPN

  1. สร้าง Default Route ใหม่: 
    route delete 0.0.0.0
route add 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 192.168.1.1 metric 1
    (เปลี่ยน 192.168.1.1 เป็น Gateway จริง)
  2. หรือ Disable/Enable WAN Miniport (IP) ใน Device Manager
