แก้ไข Unable to Contact your DHCP Server Error บน Windows 7, 8, 10

Unable to Contact DHCP Server ปรากฏเมื่อพยายาม Lease, Release หรือ Renew IP Address หมายความว่า NIC (Network Interface Card) ติดต่อ DHCP Server ไม่ได้ เพื่อขอ Lease ใหม่รับ IP Address ใหม่

DHCP Server คืออะไร

DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) เป็น Network Protocol ใช้มอบหมาย IP Address อัตโนมัติ

ทำไมถึงเจอ 'Unable to Contact DHCP Server'

Error มักเกิดหลังรันคำสั่ง ipconfig /renew ใน Command Prompt และทำให้ยากที่จะแก้ปัญหา Windows ที่พึ่งพาวิธีนี้ ด้านล่างมีหลายวิธีที่ User อื่นยืนยันได้ผล ลองดูนะครับ

วิธีแก้ที่ 1: อัปเดตหรือ Roll Back Network Drivers

Update และ Roll Back เป็นตรงข้าม แต่อึ้นอยู่กับ Driver ไหนก่อให้เกิด Error หาใช้ Driver เก่าไม่รองรับแล้ว Update เกือบแน่ใจว่าแก้ได้

แต่หา Problem เกิดหลัง Update Driver แบบใดแบบหนึ่ง Roll Back อาจพอจนกว่าจะมี Driver ใหม่ปลอดภัยกว่า ควร Update/Rollback อุปกรณ์เครือข่ายที่ใช้เชื่อมต่อ (Wireless, Ethernet) ทั้งหมดก็ไม่เป็นไร

1. Uninstall Driver ปัจจุบันก่อน
2. พิมพ์ Device Manager ใน Search ถัด Start หรือ Windows + R > devmgmt.msc > OK/Enter

3. ขยาย Network Adapters จะเห็น Adapter ทั้งหมดที่ติดตั้งอยู่

Update Driver:

1. คลิกขวา Network Adapter ที่ต้องการ > Uninstall device ลบ Adapter และ Uninstall Networking Device
2. คลิก OK ยืนยัน Uninstall

3. ถอด Adapter ออกไป ดู Driver ล่าสุดจากเว็บ Manufacturer โหลด รันจาก Downloads

4. ติดตั้งตาม Wizard หา Adapter ภายนอก (Wi-Fi Dongle) ให้ถอดไว้จน Wizard สั่งต่อใหม่ รีสตาร์ท เช็คปัญหา

Roll Back Driver:

1. คลิกขวา Network Adapter > Properties > แท็บ Driver > Roll Back Driver

2. ถ้า Grayed Out = Device ไม่ได้ Update ใหม่ (ไม่มี Backup Driver เก่า) = Update ล่าสุดน่าจะไม่ใช่สาเหตุ
3. ถ้ากดได้ ให้กด ตาม Wizard รีสตาร์ท เช็คใน Command Prompt

วิธีแก้ที่ 2: ปิด VirtualBox Related Driver

VirtualBox (Oracle) ใช้รัน/Visualize OS หลายตัวบน Platform เดียว อาจเคยใช้หรือใช้อยู่ Driver ของมันอาจทำให้เกิดปัญหา การปิดจาก Internet Connection ที่ใช้ ไม่ส่งผลต่อ VirtualBox มาก แต่อาจช่วยแก้ปัญหา

1. Win + R > พิมพ์ ncpa.cpl > OK หรือ Control Panel > Category > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings

2. ดับเบิลคลิก Active Network Adapter
3. Properties > หา VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver ในรายการ > ยกเลิกติ๊ก > OK รีสตาร์ท เช็ค Error

วิธีแก้ที่ 3: Register DNS ด้วย CMD

คำสั่งง่ายๆ นี้ช่วย User คนหนึ่งบน Forum และช่วยอีกหลายคน Microsoft Officials ก็ช็อกว่าทำงานได้ แต่วิธีนี้ Viable ลองดู ไม่ทำลายคอมพิวเตอร์ เพราะ Initiate Manual Dynamic Registration สำหรับ DNS Names และ IP Addresses ที่ Config ไว้ ใช้แก้ Network Problems

1. Win 10: คลิก Start/Search > พิมพ์ "cmd" หรือ "Command Prompt" > คลิกขวา > Run as administrator

2. Windows เก่า: Start Search อาจทำงาน/ไม่ทำงาน แต่ไป C:\Windows\System32 คลิกขวา cmd.exe > Run as Administrator
3. พิมพ์คำสั่ง กด Enter:

   ipconfig /registerdns

4. เห็น "operation completed successfully" > ปิดหรือพิมพ์ exit > รีสตาร์ท > เช็คปัญหา

วิธีแก้ที่ 4: ปิด IPv6 บน Active Connection

Error "ipconfig" บางครั้งเกิดจาก IPv6 เปิดอยู่บน Active Connection แต่ไม่มี Local Gateway ที่ต้องการ ผู้ใช้หลายรายแก้ได้แบบนี้ ไม่ส่งผลต่อประสบการณ์ผู้ใช้

1. Win + R > ncpa.cpl > OK

2. ดับเบิลคลิก Active Network Adapter > Properties > หา Internet Protocol Version 6 > ยกเลิกติ๊ก > OK > รีสตาร์ท > เช็ค ipconfig อีกครั้ง

วิธีแก้ที่ 5: Restart DHCP Client Service

DHCP Client Service จัดการปัญหาเหล่านี้ หาก Service หยุด/ผิดปกติ ให้ (Re)Start มัน หวังดี หลายคนได้ผล เพราะ Service นี้ต้อง Run อยู่เพื่อให้คำสั่ง ipconfig /renew ทำงาน

1. Win + R > พิมพ์ services.msc > OK เปิด Services

2. หา DHCP Client Service คลิกขวา > Properties
3. ถ้า Started (ดูข้าง Service Status) กด Stop กลางหน้าต่าง ถ้า Stopped ปล่อยไว้ (ตอนนี้)

4. ตรวจ Startup type = Automatic ก่อน Continue ยืนยัน Dialog ที่ขึ้น คลิก Start กลางหน้าต่าง > ออก

อาจเจอ Error ตอนกด Start:

Windows could not start the DHCP Client Service on Local Computer. Error 1079: The account specified for this service differs from the account specified for other services running in the same process.

หาเจอ ให้แก้:

1. ทำ Steps 1-3 ข้างบน เปิด DHCP Client Properties > แท็บ Log On > Browse...

2. ใต้ "Enter the object name to select" พิมพ์ชื่อบัญชี > Check Names รอ Recognized
3. OK > พิมพ์ Password ใน Password Box (ถ้าตั้งไว้) ควร Start ได้ปกติ!

วิธีแก้ที่ 6: เปลี่ยน Antivirus Program

แม้จะดูมากเกินไป แต่หลาย User รายงานว่า Free Antivirus บางตัวก่อให้เกิดปัญหานี้ ถอนการติดตั้งแล้วแก้ได้ หลังลองวิธีข้างต้นหมดแล้ว

หาลองวิธีข้างต้นหมดไม่ได้ ให้เปลี่ยน Antivirus โดยเฉพาะถ้าไม่ได้จ่ายเงิน สาเหตุหลัก: Avast และ McAfee แต่ Uninstall บางครั้งหลีกเลี่ยงได้หาใช้ BitDefender Total Security (อธิบายท้าย)

1. Start > Control Panel (Search) หรือ Gear Icon > Settings (Win 10)
2. Control Panel > View as: Category > Uninstall a Program (Programs)

3. Settings App > Apps > จะเห็นรายการโปรแกรมทั้งหมด
4. หา McAfee หรือ Avast ใน Control Panel/Settings > Uninstall
5. Wizard จะขึ้น ยืนยัน/เสนอ Uninstall/Repair > เลือก Uninstall > ตามหน้าจอ

6. คลิก Finish จบ Uninstall > รีสตาร์ท > เช็ค Error

สำหรับผู้ใช้ BitDefender Total Security:

บางครั้งแก้ได้โดยปิด Option ใน Firewall Settings Firewall ของมันบล็อก Process นี้ผ่าน Option นี้ ต้อง Disable

1. เปิด BitDefender UI: ดับเบิลคลิกไอคอน Desktop/Search Start/Double-click System Tray
2. คลิก Protection Icon Sidebar ซ้าย > View Features

3. คลิก Settings Icon มุมขวาบนของ FIREWALL Module > แท็บ Settings > จะเห็น Block port scans in the network > ปิดมัน > เช็คว่าปัญหาหายหรือไม่
