ใช้ File and Folder Troubleshooter แก้ error 0x80004005 ได้ผล:

  1. Run File and Folder Troubleshooter แบบ Administrator
  2. คลิก Advanced เลือก Apply repairs automatically
  3. กด Next
  4. ในตัวเลือกภายใต้คำถาม "What kind of problems are you experiencing" ติ๊ก Renaming or moving files and folders
  5. กด Next จบกระบวนการ

ตรวจสอบว่าปัญหาแก้แล้วหรือไม่

2. รัน System File Checker Scan

System file ที่เสียหายอาจเป็นสาเหตุ error 0x80004005 การสแกนด้วย Windows System File Checker อาจแก้ปัญหาที่ป้องกันไม่ให้ rename/file/folder ได้

ขั้นตอนรัน System File Checker scan:

  1. ไป Start พิมพ์ "cmd"
  2. คลิกขวา Command Prompt เลือก Run as Administrator
  3. ใน Command Prompt พิมพ์ sfc /scannow เว้นวรรคระหว่าง sfc และ /scannow

ถ้าได้ข้อความสุดท้าย ให้รัน DISM Restorehealth command:

  1. ไป Start พิมพ์ "cmd"
  2. คลิกขวา Command Prompt เลือก Run as Administrator
  3. ใน Command Prompt พิมพ์ DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth เว้นวรรคระหว่างคำสั่งต่างๆ

ตรวจสอบว่า error 0x80004005 ตอน rename folder ยังอยู่หรือไม่

3. เปลี่ยนชื่อไฟล์ด้วย Command Prompt

ถ้าเจอ error ตอน rename/delete ไฟล์ด้วยวิธีปกติ ใช้ Command Prompt ทำได้ ขั้นตอน:

  1. พิมพ์ "cmd" ในกล่องค้นหา Windows เข้า Command Prompt
  2. ใน Command Prompt พิมพ์ 'dir /x' กด Enter เปิดใช้งาน 8.3 file format
  3. พิมพ์ชื่อไฟล์เก่าและใหม่ในรูปแบบ: Ren 8.3folder_title new_folder_title คำสั่งจะ rename ไฟล์ที่ต้องการ แล้วคุณจะลบได้

4. Clean Boot Windows

บางครั้ง conflicting software ป้องกันไม่ให้ rename/delete ไฟล์โฟลเดอร์ได้ ต้อง clean boot Windows เพื่อยืนยัน ขั้นตอน:

อาจเป็นเพราะคุณไม่มี permission rename/delete ไฟล์โฟลเดอร์ ถ้าเป็นเช่นนั้น ใช้โปรแกรมอย่าง TakeOwnershipEx ได้ full access ไปยังไฟล์และโฟลเดอร์

วิธีใช้ TakeOwnershipEX เข้าถึงไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ที่ถูกจำกัด:

  1. ดาวน์โหลดโปรแกรม unzip ด้วย WinRAR
  2. รัน setup wizard ของ TakeOwnershipEX
  3. กดปุ่ม Take Ownership
  4. เลือกโฟลเดอร์ที่ก่อให้เกิด error 0x80004005 กด OK
    ตรวจสอบว่าปัญหาแก้แล้วหรือไม่

6. สแกนคอมพิวเตอร์ด้วย Antivirus Software

7. ใช้ User Account อื่น

น่าจะเป็นเพราะล็อกอินเป็น user ที่มีสิทธิ์จำกัด บางโฟลเดอร์/ไฟล์เข้าถึงได้เฉพาะ administrators ต้องมี admin rights ถึงจะแก้ไขได้ ถ้าไม่จำ admin login details สามารถ recover password หรือ install Windows ใหม่พร้อม option keep files and apps เพื่อมอบ admin rights ให้ตัวเอง

ทางเลือก: ถ้าแชร์คอมพิวเตอร์กับคนที่มี admin rights ขอความช่วยเหลือเข้าถึง restricted files ได้ ใช้ได้กับคนที่มีระดับการเข้าถึงต่างกันบนคอมพิวเตอร์เดียวกัน โดยเฉพาะในออฟฟิศ
