แก้ Error 1603: Fatal Windows Installer Error - คู่มือแก้ไขด่วน

ตอนติดตั้ง Windows Installer Package อาจเจอ: Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation คลิก OK แล้ว Installation จะ Rollback

สาเหตุ Error 1603

เกิดขึ้นหากเงื่อนไขใดเงื่อนไขหนึ่งเป็นจริง:

  1. โฟลเดอร์ที่ติดตั้ง Package ถูก Encrypt
  2. Drive ที่มีโฟลเดอร์ติดตั้งถูก Access ผ่าน Substitute Drive
  3. SYSTEM Account ไม่มี Full Control Permissions บนโฟลเดอร์ติดตั้ง Windows Installer Service ใช้ SYSTEM Account ติดตั้งซอฟต์แวร์

Fix Error 1603: A fatal error occurred during installation

ใช้ Fix It Tool ของ Microsoft สำหรับ Auto Fix

หาไม่ได้ ให้ทำตามคู่มือ:

  1. ดับเบิลคลิก This PC บน Desktop
  2. คลิกขวา Drive ที่ต้องการติดตั้งโปรแกรม > Properties
  3. แท็บ Security > Edit
  4. ติ๊ก Allow ถัดจาก Full Control ภายใต้ Permissions สำหรับ User SYSTEM > Apply > OK
  5. หา SYSTEM ไม่เจอ > Add > Object Name พิมพ์ SYSTEM > OK > ทำซ้ำขั้นตอน 4
  6. กลับแท็บ Security > Advanced
  7. ติ๊ก Replace permission entries on all child objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects > OK ติ๊ก Reset permissions on all child objects and enable propagation of inheritable permissions (Windows รุ่นอื่น) > OK
  8. คลิก Yes เมื่อถาม
  9. ดับเบิลคลิก Installer Package จะไม่มีปัญหาอีก

วิธีที่ 2: Install Ownership Registry Hack

  1. ดาวน์โหลดและแตกไฟล์
  2. ดับเบิลคลิก InstallTakeOwnership.reg
  3. คลิกขวาไฟล์ที่ให้ Error 1603 > Take Ownership
  4. ลองติดตั้ง Installer Package อีกครั้ง ปัญหาแก้แล้ว
  5. อยากลบ Shortcut Take Ownership ให้ดับเบิลคลิก RemoveTakeOwnership.reg

วิธีที่ 3: Restart Windows Installer Service

  1. Windows Key + R > services.msc > Enter
  2. หา Windows Installer Service คลิกขวา > Properties
  3. คลิก Start หา Service ยังไม่ Run
  4. Run อยู่แล้ว > คลิกขวา > Restart
  5. ลองติดตั้งโปรแกรมที่ให้ Access Denied อีกครั้ง

วิธีที่ 4: Re-register Windows Installer

  1. Windows Key + X > Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. พิมพ์คำสั่งทีละอัน Enter: 
    %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister
%windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver
%windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister
%windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver
  3. Reboot PC
  4. ไม่แก้ Windows Key + R > พิมพ์ %windir%\system32 > Enter
  5. หา Msiexec.exe บันทึกที่อยู่ เช่น C:\WINDOWS\system32\Msiexec.exe
  6. Windows Key + R > regedit > Enter
  7. ไปคีย์: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSIServer
  8. เลือก MSIServer ด้านขวา ดับเบิลคลิก ImagePath
  9. พิมพ์ที่อยู่ Msiexec.exe ที่บันทึกไว้ ตามด้วย /V เช่น: 
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Msiexec.exe /V
  10. Boot เข้า Safe Mode
  11. Windows Key + X > Command Prompt (Admin)
  12. พิมพ์: 
    msiexec /regserver
%windir%\Syswow64\Msiexec /regserver
  13. ปิดทั้งหมด Boot ปกติ
