วิธีที่ 1: Restore usbstor.inf

  1. ไปโฟลเดอร์: C:\windows\inf
  2. หา usbstor.inf Cut ไปวางบน Desktop ไว้ก่อน
  3. เสียบ USB ควรทำงานปกติ
  4. หลังแก้แล้ว Copy ไฟล์กลับไปที่เดิม
  5. ไม่มีไฟล์ใน C:\windows\inf หรือไม่ได้ผล ไป C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository หาโฟลเดอร์ usbstor.inf_XXXX (XXXX = ค่าใดๆ)
  6. Copy usbstor.inf และ usbstor.PNF ไป C:\windows\inf
  7. Restart PC เสียบ USB

วิธีที่ 2: อัปเดต USB Drivers

  1. Windows Key + R > devmgmt.msc > Enter
  2. Action > Scan for hardware changes
  3. คลิกขวา USB ที่มีปัญหา (เครื่องหมาย ! เหลือง) > Update Driver Software
  4. ให้ค้นหา Drivers อัตโนมัติจาก Internet
  5. Restart PC ดูแก้หรือไม่
  6. ยังมีปัญหา ทำซ้ำสำหรับ ทุก Item ใน Universal Bus Controllers

วิธีที่ 7: ถอนติดตั้ง Hidden Devices

  1. Windows Key + X > Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. ใน CMD พิมพ์: 
    set DEVMGR_SHOW_DETAILS=1

  1. ไปหน้านี้ ดาวน์โหลด Hotfix (ต้อง Sign In Microsoft Account)
  2. ติดตั้ง Hotfix อย่า Restart PC (สำคัญมาก)
  3. Windows Key + R > devmgmt.msc > Enter
  4. ขยาย Universal Serial Bus Controllers เสียบ USB
  5. Device จะถูกเพิ่มใน List
  6. คลิกขวา (Hard Drive = USB Mass Storage Device) > Properties
  7. แท็บ Details > Property Dropdown > Hardware ID
  8. บันทึก Hardware ID (Copy ได้)
  9. Windows Key + R > regedit > OK
  10. ไปคีย์: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\UsbFlags
  11. Edit > New > Key
  12. ตั้งชื่อ Key Format: Vendor ID (4 หลัก) + Product ID (4 หลัก Hex) + Revision (4 หลัก BCD) จาก Device Instance Path เช่น USB\VID_064E&PID_8126&REV_2824 → Key = 064E81262824
  13. เลือก Key ที่สร้าง > Edit > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value
  14. ชื่อ DisableOnSoftRemove ดับเบิลคลิกแก้ค่า
  15. ใส่ 0 ใน Value Data > OK > Exit Registry
    Note: ค่า 1 = Disable USB Port เมื่อถอด USB ให้ตั้งค่าระวัง
  16. Restart PC หลัง Apply Hotfix และ Registry Change
