แก้ Encrypt Contents To Secure Data Grayed Out ใน Windows 10: ฟีเจอร์ EFS (Encrypting File System) ให้เข้ารหัสไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์เพื่อความปลอดภัย แต่บางครั้งตัวเลือก Encrypt contents to secure data ใน Properties > Advanced เป็นสีเทา (Grayed Out) กดไม่ได้ วันนี้เราจะมาแก้ปัญหานี้ครับ

ทำไม Encrypt Contents To Secure Data จึง Grayed Out?

สาเหตุหลักๆ มีดังนี้:

  1. Windows Edition ไม่รองรับ: EFS ใช้ได้เฉพาะ Windows 10 Pro, Education, Enterprise (Home Edition ไม่มี)
  2. File System ไใช่ NTFS: EFS ต้องการ NTFS เท่านั้น FAT32/exFAT ไม่รองรับ
  3. บริการ EFS ปิดอยู่: Service ชื่อ Encrypting File System (EFS) หยุดทำงาน
  4. Registry/Group Policy ปิดใช้งาน: การตั้งค่าบล็อกการเข้ารหัส
  5. ไดรเวอร์/ระบบไฟล์เสียหาย: File System Corruption

วิธีแก้ Encrypt Contents To Secure Data Grayed Out

สร้าง Restore Point ก่อนครับ

วิธีที่ 1: เช็ค Windows Edition และ File System

  1. Win + R > winver Enter ดู Edition (ต้องเป็น Pro/Education/Enterprise)
  2. คลิกขวา Drive/Folder > Properties > ดู File System (ต้องเป็น NTFS)
  3. ถ้าเป็น Home Edition หรือ FAT32/exFAT = ใช้ EFS ไม่ได้ ต้องใช้ BitLocker หรือ Tool ภายนอกแทน

วิธีที่ 2: เริ่มบริการ Encrypting File System (EFS)

  1. Win + R > services.msc Enter
  2. หา Encrypting File System (EFS)
  3. ดับเบิลคลิก > Startup type: Automatic > Start
  4. Apply > OK > Reboot

วิธีที่ 3: แก้ Registry (NtfsDisableEncryption)

  1. Win + R > regedit Enter
  2. ไป: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem
  3. หา NtfsDisableEncryption (DWORD)
  4. ดับเบิลคลิก เปลี่ยน Value Data เป็น 0 (0 = Enable Encryption, 1 = Disable)
  5. OK > Reboot

วิธีที่ 4: แก้ผ่าน Group Policy Editor (Pro/Enterprise เท่านั้น)

  1. Win + R > gpedit.msc Enter
  2. ไป: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Filesystem > NTFS
  3. หา Do not allow encryption on all NTFS volumes
  4. ดับเบิลคลิก เลือก Disabled หรือ Not Configured
  5. Apply > OK > Reboot

วิธีที่ 5: รัน SFC และ DISM แก้ System Files

  1. Win + X > Command Prompt (Admin)
  2. พิมพ์: 
    sfc /scannow
  3. รอเสร็จ Reboot
  4. CMD Admin อีกครั้ง: 
    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
  5. รอเสร็จ Reboot

วิธีที่ 6: ใช้ Cipher Command ตรวจสอบ/แก้ไข

  1. CMD Admin พิมพ์: cipher /u /n (แสดงไฟล์ที่เข้ารหัสแล้ว)
  2. ถ้ามี Error ลอง: cipher /w:X: (X = Drive Letter) วิปพื้นที่ว่าง อาจช่วยแก้ File System

วิธีที่ 7: ตรวจสอบ Hard Drive Errors

  1. CMD Admin: chkdsk X: /f /r (X = Drive Letter)
  2. ถ้าเป็น C: จะถาม Schedule at Next Restart กด Y > Reboot
