1. Clear Media Player Cache
เปิด Windows File Explorer และไปที่ตำแหน่งต่อไปนี้:
%userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player
ในโฟลเดอร์นี้ ลบไฟล์ทั้งหมดที่มีนามสกุล .wmdb คุณอาจต้องทำให้ Explorer แสดงนามสกุลไฟล์ก่อน หากคุณไม่สามารถลบไฟล์เหล่านั้นได้ ให้เปลี่ยนชื่อโฟลเดอร์ Media Player เองเป็น Media Player Old

3. ตรวจสอบ Services

- Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service – Automatic (Delayed Start)
- Computer Browser – Manual (Trigger Start)
- UPNP Device Host – Manual
- Workstation – Automatic
- SSDP Discovery Services – Manual

4. ตรวจสอบสถานะ Search Indexing
หาก Windows Search Indexing ถูกปิด คุณอาจไม่สามารถเปิดใช้งาน Media Streaming ได้ โปรดตรวจสอบให้แน่ใจว่า Search Indexing เปิดใช้งานอยู่
5. ตรวจสอบ Group Policy Setting นี้
รัน gpedit.msc เพื่อเปิด Local Group Policy Editor และไปที่การตั้งค่าต่อไปนี้:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Media Player.
ที่นี่ ให้แน่ใจว่า Setting Prevent Media Sharing เป็น Not Configured หรือ Disabled
6. รัน Hardware Troubleshooter
รัน Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter และดูว่าช่วยได้หรือไม่
7. Troubleshoot ใน Clean Boot State
