ขณะติดตั้งหรือตั้งค่า Windows เวอร์ชันต่างๆ คอมพิวเตอร์มักโยน Error ต่างๆ หนึ่งในนั้นคือ Windows could not finish configuring the system ข้อความเต็ม:
Windows could not finish configuring the system. To attempt to resume configuration, restart the computer.
Error นี้เกิดบน Windows 10/8/7 และ Windows Server ขึ้นระหว่าง Phase sysprep เกิดจาก Registry Key ที่ใหญ่กว่า 8 KB

มีวิธีแก้เพียงวิธีเดียว แต่มีประสิทธิภาพสูง
ระหว่าง Windows Setup เมื่อข้อความปรากฏ กด Shift+F10 เปิด Command Prompt
รัน CMD as Administrator ใส่คำสั่งทีละคำสั่ง:
cd oobe msoobe
จะเปิด Directory oobe แล้วบูทเข้า Windows OOBE (Out-Of-Box-Experience) จะนำไปสู่หน้า Set up Windows
เลือก Country/Region, Time/Currency, Keyboard Layout
คลิก Next
ตั้งค่าต่อไป: User name, Password, ยอมรับ License Terms, Windows Updates (Windows เก่ากว่า 10), Date/Time ฯล฿
เสร็จแล้ว Reboot คอมพิวเตอร์
หากไม่ Reboot ให้ ค้างปุ่ม Power บน CPU จนปิดสนิท เรียกว่า Cold Boot
เปิดเครื่องปกติ ตรวจสอบว่าปัญหาแก้ไขหรือยัง
