RAM (Random Access Memory) เป็นฮาร์ดแวร์ที่มักก่อให้เกิดปัญหาระบบหลายอย่าง หากเจอ Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), คอมพิวเตอร์ค้างบ่อย, Reboot บ่อยขณะใช้ RAM เยอะ (เกม, 3D, Video/Graphics Editors) อาจเป็นอาการ Hardware Problem หน่วยความจำเสีย ทำให้ระบบผิดปกติหลายอย่าง Windows มีเครื่องมือเก๋า Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool ตรวจสอบปัญหา Memory รวมถึงทดสอบ RAM
รัน Memory Diagnosis ขั้นแรกใน Troubleshooting จะช่วย Detect ปัญหา RAM ได้ Tool นี้รัน Comprehensive Test และแสดงผลเพื่อดำเนินการทันที
รัน Memory Diagnostic Tool Windows 10
- Control Panel → Search "Memory" → Click "Windows Memory Diagnostics"
- หรือ Start Menu Search "Memory Diagnostic" → Click App
- หรือ Win + R → mdsched.exe → Enter
เลือก 2 ตัวเลือก: "Restart Now and Check Problems" หรือ "Check for Problems the Next Time I Start My Computer"
เลือก Restart Now → Save Work/Close Programs ก่อน หรือรอ Next Boot
Restart แล้ว Memory Diagnostics Tool จะรันทดสอบ RAM อัตโนมัติ อาจใช้เวลานาน มี Progress Bar และ Status Notification
Advanced Options สำหรับ Memory Diagnostics Tool
ตอน Tool เริ่มทำงาน กด F1 เข้า Advanced Options ปรับตั้งค่า:
ตั้งค่าได้ดังนี้:
- Test Mix: Basic, Standard, หรือ Extended (อธิบายใน Tool)
- Cache: Default, On, Off ต่อ Test
- Pass Count: จำนวนรอบที่ต้องการทดสอบซ้ำ
ปรับเสร็จ กด F10 Apply และเริ่ม Test ใช้เวลาหลายนาที เสร็จ → Reboot → Windows Desktop
Login แล้วจะแสดงผล แต่บางครั้งไม่แสดงอัตโนมัติ ต้องหาเองใน Windows Event Viewer
หา Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool Test Results
- Win + R → eventvwr.msc → Enter
- Windows Event Viewer → Windows Logs (ขวา) → System
- System Logs เยอะมาก หายาก → Filter: Click "Find" (ขวา)
- พิมพ์ "MemoryDiagnostic" → Find Next
- Test Results จะเปิดที่ล่างหน้าต่าง
- Double-click Event Log → ดูรายละเอียด และว่ามี Error ถูกตรวจพบหรือไม่
