Widevine Content Decryption Module คืออะไร?

Widevine Content Decryption Module (WidevineCdm) เป็นโมดูลถอดรหัส built-in ใน Chrome ให้เล่นเนื้อหา DRM-protected HTML5 video/audio ได้ โมดูลนี้มาพร้อม Chrome ไม่ได้ติดตั้งเพิ่ม ถ้าปิด/ลบ จะเล่น Netflix, Amazon Prime ไม่ได้

Error จะบอกให้ไป chrome://components/ อัปเดต WidevineCdm ถ้ายัง Not Updated อยู่ ให้ทำตามวิธีด้านล่างครับ

แก้ Widevine Content Decryption Module Error

สร้าง Restore Point ก่อนครับ

วิธีที่ 1: ลองอัปเดต Widevine Content Decryption Module

หมายเหตุ: รัน Chrome เป็น Admin ก่อน

1. เปิด Google Chrome ไปที่: chrome://components/
2. เลื่อนลงล่าง หา Widevine Content Decryption Module
3. กด Check for update
4. เสร็จแล้ว Refresh หน้า จะเห็น Up-to-date ใต้ Status
5. Reboot PC

วิธีที่ 2: เปลี่ยน Permission ของ WidevineCdm

1. Win + R พิมพ์: %userprofile%/appdata/local/Google/Chrome/User Data Enter
2. หาโฟลเดอร์ WidevineCdm
3. คลิกขวา > Properties > แท็บ Security
4. เลือก User Account ของคุณ > ใต้ Permissions ติ๊ก Full Control
5. ถ้ายังไม่ติ๊ก กด Edit > ยกเลิก Deny > ติ๊ก Full Control
6. Apply > OK
7. Restart Chrome > ไป chrome://components/ อัปเดต Widevine ใหม่

วิธีที่ 3: ลบโฟลเดอร์ Widevine

1. ปิด Chrome สนิท > ไปโฟลเดอร์ WidevineCdm (วิธีที่ 2)
2. Select โฟลเดอร์ > Shift + Del ลบถาวร
3. ลองอัปเดต Widevine ใหม่ ด้วยวิธีที่ 1

วิธีที่ 4: ติดตั้ง Chrome ใหม่

1. Win + R พิมพ์: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\ Enter
2. คลิกขวาโฟลเดอร์ default > Rename เป็น default.old (หรือ Delete ถ้ายอมสูญเสีย Settings)
3. หมายเหตุ: Rename ไม่ได้ = ปิด Chrome ทุก Process ใน Task Manager ก่อน
4. Control Panel > Uninstall a program > Google Chrome > Uninstall > ลบ Data ทั้งหมด
5. Reboot > ติดตั้ง Chrome ใหม่

วิธีที่ 5: ปิด Antivirus และ Firewall ชั่วคราว

Antivirus บางตัวอาจบล็อก Widevine ทดสอบโดยปิดชั่วคราว

1. คลิกขวา Antivirus Icon System Tray > Disable เลือกเวลาน้อยที่สุด (15-30 นาที)
2. ลองเปิด Chrome เช็ค Error
3. Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Turn Windows Firewall on or off
4. เลือก Turn off Windows Firewall > Reboot
5. ทดสอบ Chrome อีกครั้ง
6. สำคัญ: เปิด Firewall/Antivirus กลับคืนหลังทดสอบ
