MHW ERR12: Graphics Device Crashed คืออะไร?
ข้อผิดพลาด ERR12: Graphics Device Crashed / Removed หมายถึง GPU หยุดตอบสนอง/Reset ระหว่างรันเกม เกิดจาก: Overclock ไม่เสถียร, ไดรเวอร์ GPU เก่า/ชน, Setting เกมสูงเกิน VRAM, TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery) ของ Windows ตัดการทำงานของ GPU, หรือ Hardware ปัญหา (PSU ไม่พอ, Overheat)
วิธีแก้ MHW ERR12 Graphics Device Crashed
วิธี 1: อัปเดต/Reinstall ไดรเวอร์ GPU (Clean Install - สำคัญที่สุด)
- NVIDIA: GeForce Experience > Custom Install > Clean Installation / ดาวน์โหลดจากเว็บ > Custom > Clean Install
- AMD: Adrenalin > Factory Reset / ดาวน์โหลดจากเว็บ > Factory Reset
- ใช้ DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) ใน Safe Mode ลบเก่าทิ้งก่อนติดตั้งใหม่ (Best Practice)
วิธี 2: ปิด/ลด Overclock GPU & VRAM (สาเหตุ #1)
- MSI Afterburner / EVGA Precision / GPU Tweak: กด Reset (Default Clocks)
- หาก Overclock เอง: ลด Core Clock -50MHz, Memory Clock -100MHz ทดสอบ ลดเรื่อยๆ จนเสถียร
- ตั้ง Power Limit = 100% (หรือ Default) อย่าตั้ง Max
- ตั้ง Temp Limit = 80-83°C (ปกติ 83°C)
วิธี 3: ปรับ Setting ในเกม ให้เบา (ลด VRAM Usage)
Options > Graphics > Advanced:
- Volumetric Fog: Off (กิน VRAM มาก)
- SSAO: Off หรือ Low
- Texture Quality: High (ไม่ใช่ Ultra - Ultra กิน VRAM 8GB+)
- Shadow Quality: Medium/High
- Anti-Aliasing: TAA / FXAA (Off เร็วสุด แต่ขมอน)

วิธี 4: ปรับ NVIDIA Control Panel / AMD Adrenalin สำหรับ MHW
NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > Monster Hunter World (MonsterHunterWorld.exe):
- Power Management Mode: Prefer Maximum Performance
- Low Latency Mode: Ultra

- GPU Scaling: On
วิธี 5: เพิ่มค่า TdrDelay ใน Registry (แก้ TDR Timeout)
Windows จะ Reset GPU หากไม่ตอบสนองภายใน 2 วินาที (Default) เกมหนักอาจนานกว่า
- Win + R >
regedit(Run as Admin แนะนำ) - ไป:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers - ขวา whitespace > New > DWORD (32-bit) Value > ชื่อ TdrDelay
- Double-click > Base: Decimal > Value: 8 (หรือ 10-15)
- OK > Restart PC
คำเตือน: ค่าสูงเกินไปอาจทำให้ระบบค้างหาก GPU ตายจริง 8-10 ปลอดภัยพอ
วิธี 6: อัปเดต DirectX / Visual C++ / Windows
- Windows Update > Check Updates (ติดตั้งทั้งหมด รวม Optional Driver Updates)
- DirectX: รัน
dxwebsetup.exeจาก Microsoft (Web Installer) - VC++: ติดตั้ง Latest Supported Visual C++ Redistributable (x64 & x86) จาก Microsoft Learn
วิธี 7: Power Plan & Background Apps
- Power Plan: High Performance / Ultimate Performance (cmd:
powercfg /duplicatescheme e9a42b02-d5df-448d-aa00-03f14749eb61) - ปิด Overlay: Discord, Steam, GeForce Experience, Xbox Game Bar, RGB Software
- รัน Steam & MHW As Administrator
วิธี 8: Verify / Reinstall Game
- Steam > Library > MHW > Properties > Installed Files > Verify Integrity of Game Files
- ยังไม่ได้: Uninstall > Delete Folder เหลือ > Reinstall
