Fix Windows Update Errors

1] ลองอีกครั้ง

4] รัน SFC และ DISM

8] Flush Software Distribution Folder

Flush SoftwareDistribution Folder รัน Command Prompt as administrator ใน CMD box พิมพ์ข้อความต่อไปนี้ทีละบรรทัด กด Enter:

net stop wuauserv
net stop bits

ไปที่ C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution ลบไฟล์และโฟลเดอร์ทั้งหมดภายใน

หากไฟล์กำลังใช้อยู่ รีสตาร์ทอุปกรณ์ หลัง reboot รันคำสั่งข้างบนอีกครั้ง Windows Store App ต้องปิด อย่าเปิดมัน

ตอนนี้จะลบไฟล์จาก Software Distribution folder ได้ ตอนนี้ใน Command Prompt พิมพ์คำสั่งต่อไปนี้ทีละคำสั่ง กด Enter:

net start wuauserv
net start bits

Reboot หากใช้ Windows Update ลองใช้ Microsoft Updates หรือ vice versa

9] Reset Catroot folder

Windows Update ติดตั้งไม่ได้ หรือดาวน์โหลดไม่ได้ใน Windows 11/10

Reset Catroot folder ดูว่าช่วยได้ไหม ในการ reset catroot2 folder ทำนี้:

เปิด elevated Command Prompt พิมพ์คำสั่งต่อไปนี้ทีละคำสั่ง กด Enter:

net stop cryptsvc
md %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.old
xcopy %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 %systemroot%\system32\catroot2.old /s

ลบเนื้อหาทั้งหมดใน catroot2 folder

ทำเสร็จแล้ว ใน CMD พิมพ์ต่อไปนี้และกด Enter:

net start cryptsvc

Catroot folder จะถูก reset เมื่อเริ่ม Windows Update ใหม่

อ่าน: Windows Updates อาจล้มเหลวหาก Fast Startup เปิดอยู่

10] ตรวจสอบสถานะ Windows Update Services

เปิด Windows Services Manager ตรวจสอบ Windows Update related Services เช่น Windows Update, Windows Update Medic, Update Orchestrator Services ไม่ได้ถูก disable

Default configuration บน standalone Windows 11/10 PC:

  • Windows Update Service – Manual (Triggered)
  • Windows Update Medic Services – Manual
  • Cryptographic Services – Automatic
  • Background Intelligent Transfer Service – Manual
  • DCOM Server Process Launcher – Automatic
  • RPC Endpoint Mapper – Automatic
  • Windows Installer – Manual

สิ่งนี้จะทำให้ Services ที่จำเป็นพร้อมใช้งาน

นอกจาก service โดยตรง ควรหา dependencies ของ Windows Update service และตรวจสอบว่าทำงานอยู่หรือไม่

เริ่มต้นด้วยการค้นหา "services" ในกล่องค้นหา Taskbar คลิกผลลัพธ์ หลังเปิด Services หา Windows Update, DCOM Server Process Launcher, RPC Endpoint Mapper ดูว่ารันอยู่ไหม

ถ้าไม่ได้ ให้เริ่ม services นั้นๆ ทีละตัว

11] ตรวจสอบ Windows Update log file

หายังมีปัญหา ไปที่ C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log หา entry ล่าสุด จะอยู่ท้าย log ไฟล์ที่ล้มเหลวจะมี error code ถัดไป จดไว้ หาก entry เยอะเกินไป ลบ WindowsUpdate.log นี้ และลองติดตั้ง updates ที่มีปัญหาใหม่

คลิกขวา Computer > Manage > Event Viewer > Applications and Service Logs > Microsoft > Windows > WindowsUpdateClient > Operational ดู Critical Message หรือ Warning

12] Clear pending.xml file

เปิด elevated command prompt พิมพ์ต่อไปนี้และกด Enter:

Ren c:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml pending.old

รีสตาร์ทคอมพิวเตอร์ และลองใหม่

15] รัน Windows Module Installer

Windows Module Installer เป็น built-in Windows 10 service ให้คุณซ่อม Windows updates ที่ติดขัด

เปิด command prompt ด้วย admin privileges

พิมพ์ต่อไปนี้และกด Enter:

SC config trustedinstaller start=auto

เมื่อรันสำเร็จ ควรเห็น [SC] ChangeServiceConfig SUCCESS ใน Command Prompt console

16] รัน Background Intelligent Transfer Service Troubleshooter

รัน Background Intelligent Transfer Service Troubleshooter ดูว่าช่วยได้ไหม BITS ช่วย transfer, download, upload ไฟล์ระหว่าง client และ server ให้ข้อมูลความคืบหน้า มีบทบาทในการดาวน์โหลดจาก peer Windows Service นี้จำเป็นสำหรับ Windows Updates

17] ดาวน์โหลด stand-alone installer

21] ติดต่อ Microsoft Support
