Getting Windows ready, Don't turn off your computer

เพิ่งเจอขณะอัปเกรด Windows 10 Laptop อื่นๆ ไม่มีปัญหา แต่ Dell XPS ค้างเกิน 2 ชั่วโมง! มีรายงานว่าค้างถึง 7 ชั่วโมง

สังเกต Animation วงกลม (Cursor):

1. กำลังหมุนอยู่หรือไม่
2. หรือเป็นนิ่ง (Frozen)

วงกลมกำลังหมุน (Moving)

ไม่ต้องทำอะไร แค่รอ จนกระทั่งอัปเกรดเสร็จ

ห้ามปิดเครื่องเด็ดขาด ไม่งั้นอาจ Boot ไม่ได้!

ผมรอ 2 ชั่วโมงไม่เสร็จ ตัดสินใจนอน แต่ตั้งค่าไม่ให้ Sleep ระหว่างเสียบไฟ: Settings > System > Power & Sleep > When plugged in, turn off after = Never

เชื่อมต่อ Power Supply ตลอด หลังนอนหลายชั่วโมง พบว่า อัปเกรดสำเร็จ แล้วเจอหน้าจอ:

สรุป: ตราบใดวงกลมยังหมุนอยู่ ให้รอ ไม่ต้องทำอะไร

วงกลมหยุดนิ่ง (Frozen)

หาก Animation หยุดนิ่ง แนะนำรอต่อ 1 วัน หากคิดว่าไม่น่าจะเสร็จ ให้ Shutdown ด้วยปุ่ม Power

1. PC Reboot ได้: Clear SoftwareDistribution folder, Reset Catroot2 folder, รัน Windows Update ใหม่
2. PC Boot ไม่ได้: ต้อง Reinstall Windows 11/10 ด้วย Media Creation Tool หรือ Upgrade Assistant เลือก Keep personal files & data
