ก่อนหน้านี้เขียนเรื่อง Windows 7 ไม่ Sleep คิดว่าจะแก้ใน Windows 10 แล้ว แต่ไม่! ปัญหานี้ยังคงอยู่ในบาง Version ของ Windows 10
หลัง Upgrade Windows 10 ล่าสุด เครื่องไม่ Sleep! ชี้แจง: Sleep ได้ถ้ากด Power button ด้วยมือ (ตั้งให้ Sleep) หรือเลือก Sleep จาก Start Menu
ปัญหา: Setting ตั้งเวลา Auto Sleep ไม่ทำงาน ตั้งให้ Sleep หลัง 30 นาที แต่ไม่มีครั้งไหน Sleep!
เหตุผลเยอะมาก ต้องลองทีละอย่าง ก่อนเปลี่ยน Settings สร้าง Power Report อาจบอกว่าอะไรกำลังป้องกัน Sleep
สร้าง Power Report
Power Report ใน Windows 10 บอกได้ว่าอะไรกำลังป้องกัน Sleep รันได้: เปิด Admin Command Prompt พิมพ์:
powercfg.exe /energy
ใช้เวลา ~1 นาที จะบอก Errors และ Warnings กี่รายการ หวังว่าถ้าคุณมีปัญหา Sleep จะมี Errors
Error แรก เป็นสาเหตุ Sleep Issue ของผม:
System Availability Requests: System Required Request
The device or driver has made a request to prevent the system from automatically entering sleep.
Driver Name \FileSystem\srvnet
Report มีประโยชน์ เพราะบอกชัดเจนว่ามีอะไรป้องกัน Sleep Errors อื่น 5 ตัวระบุชัดว่าไม่ป้องกัน Sleep
อาจได้ Report แบบนี้:
ปัญหา: 1) ไม่ตั้ง Sleep/Turn off Display เมื่อเสียบไฟ 2) USB Device ไม่เข้ Selective Suspend ป้องกัน Sleep 3) Hardware ไม่รองรับ S3 Sleep State = ไม่ทำอะไรได้ ต้อง Update BIOS หวังว่าจะมี Setting
Network Adapter
Network Card อีกตัวป้องกัน Sleep อัปเดต Driver Network Card ก่อน ถ้าไม่แก้: Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings
คลิกขวา Active Network Adapter(s) Properties (ถ้าหลายตัว ทำทุกตัว)
คลิก Configure บน Ethernet Properties
แท็บ Power Management ติ๊ก Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
จะให้คอมพิวเตอร์ปิด Network Adapter ตอน Sleep หากมี Hardware พิเศษอื่นๆ ทำขั้นตอนเดียวกัน
แก้ SRVNET Active Remote Request
แก้ปัญหานี้อย่างไร? มีหลายวิธี เริ่มจากง่าย ไปยาก ลองทีละอย่าง เช็คหลังแต่ละวิธี
วิธี 1 – HomeGroup
ออกจาก Windows HomeGroup ถ้าอยู่ใน HomeGroup อาจ Corrupt/Misconfigured ทำให้คิดว่ามี Active Remote Request = ไม่ Sleep
ออก HomeGroup: Control Panel > HomeGroup เลื่อนลง คลิก Leave the homegroup ถ้าต้องใช้ HomeGroup ออกแล้วสร้างใหม่ทุกเครื่องใน HomeGroup จะ Reset และหวังว่าแก้
วิธี 2 – Media Streaming
ปิด Media Streaming ฟีเจอร์ทำให้คอมพิวเตอร์เป็น Local Media Server เข้าถึง Pictures, Videos, Music ผ่าน Network Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center (หรือ Network & Internet) > Change Advanced Sharing Settings ซ้าย
เลื่อนลง Media Streaming คลิก Choose media streaming options
คลิก Block All ขวาบน OK ล่าง ปิด Media Streaming
Restart เช็ค Sleep ถ้ายังไม่ได้ อ่านต่อ!
วิธี 3 – เช็ค Driver ใน Device Manager
SRVNET Driver ปกติเกี่ยว Network อาจเป็น Remote Connections (ลองปิด 2 วิธีก่อน) หรือ Network Card เอง Network Cards มี Power Management และ Wake-on-LAN อัปเดต Driver Network Card จากเว็บ Manufacturer
Device Manager > ขยาย Network adapters คลิกขวา Network Card Properties
Settings ที่จะเปลี่ยนอยู่ 2 ที่: แท็บ Advanced Property Box หรือแท็บ Power Management ถ้าไม่มี Power Management Tab คลิก Advanced จะมี Property Power Saving Mode หรือคล้ายๆ กัน
ติ๊ก Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power ถ้า Allow this device to wake the computer ติ๊กอยู่ Uncheck ดูว่าแก้ไหม
วิธี 4 – Override SRVNET
วิธีสุดท้าย: Override SRVNET ใน OS แม้จะมี Remote Connections ก็ Override ให้ Sleep ได้ = อนุญาต Sleep พร้อม Remote Opens
Admin Command Prompt พิมพ์:
powercfg /requestsoverride DRIVER srvnet System
คอมพิวเตอร์ควร Sleep แน่นอนถ้าวิธีอื่นไม่ได้! คำสั่งไม่ควรก่อปัญหา แต่ถ้ามีอะไรผิด Undo ด้วย:
powercfg /requestsoverride DRIVER srvnet
