แก้ "Setup couldn't start properly" ตอนอัปเกรด Windows 10

ข้อผิดพลาด 「Setup couldn't start properly. Please reboot your PC and run setup again.」 เกิดระหว่างอัปเกรด/อัปเดต Windows 10 สาเหตุ: ไฟล์ติดตั้ง Windows เก่า (Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, $Windows.~WS) ค้างอยู่ขัดแย้งกับกระบวนการอัปเกรดใหม่ แม้รีบูทก็ไม่หาย ต้องลบโฟลเดอร์เหล่านี้ออก

4 วิธีแก้ Setup couldn't start properly

สร้าง Restore Point ก่อน

วิธีที่ 1: Disk Cleanup + Error Checking

1. คลิกขวา C: > Properties > Disk Cleanup
2. กด Clean up system files
3. ติ๊กทั้งหมด โดยเฉพาะ Previous Windows Installation(s) และ Temporary Windows Installation files > OK
4. รอทำความสะอาดเสร็จ > กลับไปแท็บ Tools > Check (Error checking) > ตามขั้นตอน
5. รีสตาร์ท ลองรัน Setup ใหม่

วิธีที่ 2: บูต Safe Mode ลบโฟลเดอร์ขัดแย้งด้วยตนเอง (มีประสิทธิภาพสูง)

1. Win + R msconfig > แท็บ Boot > ติ๊ก Safe boot (Minimal) > OK > Restart
2. เข้า Safe Mode แล้ว: File Explorer > View > Options > View > ติ๊ก Show hidden files, folders, and drives > เอาติ๊ก Hide protected operating system files ออก
3. Win + R C:\Windows Enter > ลบโฟลเดอร์ (Shift+Delete):
   $Windows.~BT (Backup files)
   $Windows.~WS (Server files)
4. กลับ C: > ลบ Windows.old
5. Empty Recycle Bin
6. กลับ msconfig > เอาติ๊ก Safe boot ออก > OK > Restart
7. ดาวน์โหลด Media Creation Tool ใหม่ รันอัปเกรดอีกครั้ง

วิธีที่ 3: รัน Setup.exe โดยตรงจากโฟลเดอร์ ESD

1. รันอัปเกรดให้ล้มเหลว 1 ครั้ง
2. เปิดดู Hidden files (เหมือนขั้นตอนวิธีที่ 2)
3. ไป: C:\ESD\setup.exe > ดับเบิลคลิกรัน > ดำเนินการอัปเกรดต่อ

วิธีที่ 4: Automatic/Startup Repair จาก DVD/USB Boot

1. บูตจาก Windows 10 Installation Media (DVD/USB)
2. กดปุ่มเมื่อโชย Press any key to boot from CD/DVD
3. เลือกภาษา > Next > Repair your computer (ซ้ายล่าง)
4. Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Automatic Repair (หรือ Startup Repair)
5. รอซ่อมแซมเสร็จ > Restart
