Something Happened Windows Setup Error

  1. Run Media Creation Tool as Administrator
  2. เปลี่ยน Locale/Language เป็น English (United States)
  3. Disable/Uninstall Security Software (Antivirus ตัวที่ 3)
  4. Enable Essential Services
  5. Modify Registry – AllowOSUpgrade Key
  6. ดาวน์โหลด Windows 11/10 ISO โดยตรง
  7. Clean Install Windows 11/10

1. Run as Administrator

คลิกขวา Media Creation Tool → Run as Administrator หรือ Sign in ด้วย Admin Account

2. เปลี่ยน Locale/Language เป็น English (US)

Region/Language Settings ต่างจาก Setup Files → เปลี่ยนเป็น English (United States)

3. Disable/Uninstall Antivirus ตัวที่ 3

Antivirus ตัวที่ 3 อาจรบกวน → ใช้ Windows Defender ระหว่างอัปเกรด → Uninstall ด้วย Removal Tool เฉพาะ → Re-install หลังอัปเกรดเสร็จ

4. Enable Essential Services

Services ต่อไปนี้ต้องเป็น Automatic และ Running:

  • Windows Update / Automatic Updates
  • Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS)
  • Server
  • Workstation
  • TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper
  • IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules

Services.msc → หา Service แต่ละตัว → Startup Type: Automatic → Start → Restart PC → Run Upgrade อีกครั้ง

5. Modify Registry – AllowOSUpgrade

Backup Registry / Create Restore Point ก่อน

  1. Win+R → regedit
  2. ไปที่: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate
  3. Double-click AllowOSUpgrade (DWORD) → Value data: 1
  4. หากไม่มี: New → DWORD (32-bit) Value → ชื่อ AllowOSUpgrade → Value: 1
  5. Restart → Retry Upgrade

6. ดาวน์โหลด Windows ISO โดยตรง

โหลด ISO จากเว็บ Microsoft → Mount ISO → Run setup.exe เพื่อ In-place Upgrade

7. Clean Install Windows 11/10

สร้าง Installation Media (USB) → Boot จาก USB → Clean Install
