แก้ไข File Explorer Crash ใน Windows 10

ปัญหา: เปิด File Explorer แล้ว Crash ทุกครั้ง บางเคส Crash ตอน Search, คลิกขวา, Copy/Paste รีสตาร์ทชั่วคราวแล้ว Crash ใหม่ ไม่มีสาเหตุเดียว ขึ้นกับการตั้งค่าแต่ละเครื่อง

วิธีแก้ไข File Explorer Crashing ใน Windows 10

ข้อแนะนำ: สร้าง Restore Point ก่อนเริ่มต้น

วิธีที่ 1: หาสาเหตุด้วย Event Viewer

  1. Windows Key + R > eventvwr Enter
  2. Windows Logs > System > หา Error ที่มี Red Exclamation Mark > คลิกดูรายละเอียดโปรแกรม/กระบวนการที่ทำให้ Explorer Crash
  3. หากเป็น Third-party App ให้ Uninstall ผ่าน Control Panel

วิธีที่ 2: หา Root Cause ด้วย Reliability Monitor

  1. ค้นหา Reliability > Reliability History Monitor
  2. รอรายงาน สาเหตุส่วนใหญ่คือ IDTNC64.cpl (IDT Audio Software ไม่เข้ากันกับ Windows 10)
  3. Windows Key + Q > cmd > Run as Administrator
  4. รัน: ren IDTNC64.CPL IDTNC64.CPL.old
  5. หา Rename ไม่ได้ ให้ Uninstall IDT Audio Manager จาก Control Panel (หาก Control Panel ปิดเอง ให้ Disable Windows Error Reporting Service ก่อน: services.msc > Windows Error Reporting Service > Startup Type: Disable > Stop)
  6. Uninstall IDT Audio > Reboot > กลับไปตั้ง Windows Error Reporting Service เป็น Manual

วิธีที่ 3: Launch Folder Windows In A Separate Process

  1. File Explorer > View > Options (หรือ Control Panel > File Explorer Options)
  2. แท็บ View > ติ๊ก "Launch folder windows in a separate process" > Apply > OK > Reboot

วิธีที่ 4: เปลี่ยนขนาดข้อความ/แอป/รายการอื่นๆ

  1. Settings > System > Display
  2. ตั้ง Change the size of text, apps, and other items = 100% หรือ 150% (อย่าใช้ 175% เพราะก่อให้เกิด Crash)
  3. Reboot

วิธีที่ 5: Clear File Explorer History

  1. Control Panel > File Explorer Options > แท็บ General > Clear ใกล้ Clear File Explorer history > Restart

วิธีที่ 6: Disable All Shell Extensions

  1. ดาวน์โหลด ShellExView (NirSoft)
  2. รัน shexview.exe > รอเก็บข้อมูล Shell Extensions
  3. Options > Hide All Microsoft Extensions
  4. Ctrl + A เลือกทั้งหมด > กดปุ่ม แดง (Disable) มุมซ้ายบน > Yes
  5. หาแก้ได้ = ปัญหาอยู่ที่ Shell Extension ให้ Enable ทีละตัว (ปุ่มเขียว) จน Crash อีกครั้ง แล้ว Disable ตัวนั้นหรือ Uninstall โปรแกรมนั้น

วิธีที่ 7: Disable Quick Access

  1. File Explorer > View > Options > แท็บ General
  2. ยกเลิกติ๊ก "Show recently used files in Quick access" และ "Show frequently used folders in Quick access" (Privacy) > Apply > OK > Reboot

ซอฟต์แวร์ภายนอกขัดกับ File Explorer ทำ Clean Boot วินิจฉัย

วิธีที่ 9: ให้สิทธิ์ Full Control บนโฟลเดอร์/ไฟล์ที่ปัญหา

(เฉพาะกรณี Crash กับไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์เฉพาะ)

  1. คลิกขวา File/Folder > Properties > Security tab > Advanced
  2. Change Owner > ใส่ User Account > Check Names > OK
  3. ติ๊ก Replace owner on subcontainers and objects > OK
  4. Advanced Security Settings > Add > Select a principal > ใส่ User Account > OK
  5. Type: Allow > ติ๊ก Full Control > OK > Apply > OK
