แก้ไขคำเตือน "Reconnect Your Drive" ใน File History ของ Windows 10

หากใช้ File History อาจเจอคำเตือน: "Reconnect your drive. Your file will be temporarily copied to your hard drive until you reconnect you File History drive and run a backup." คำเตือนนี้เกิดได้เมื่อ: ถอดไดรฟ์ภายนอกนานเกินไป ไดรฟ์ไม่มีพื้นที่พอสำหรับไฟล์ชั่วคราว หรือ File History ถูกปิดการทำงาน

วิธีแก้คำเตือน Reconnect your drive ใน Windows 10

สร้าง Restore Point ก่อนเพื่อความปลอดภัย

วิธีที่ 1: รัน Hardware Troubleshooter

1. ค้นหา "troubleshooting" > คลิก Troubleshooting
2. คลิก Hardware and Sound
3. เลือก Hardware and Devices
4. ปฏิบัติตามคำแนะนำ
5. ลองเชื่อมต่อไดรฟ์ใหม่ ดูว่าแก้ไขได้ไหม

วิธีที่ 2: เปิดใช้งาน File History

1. Windows Key + I > Settings > Update & Security
2. เมนูซ้าย คลิก Backup
3. ใต้ "Backup using File History" คลิก + เพิ่มไดรฟ์
4. เชื่อมต่อไดรฟ์ภายนอก คลิกไดรฟ์นั้นในหน้าต่างที่ขึ้น
5. File History จะเริ่มจัดเก็บข้อมูล และ toggle ON/OFF จะปรากฏใต้ "Automatically back up my file"
6. รอการสำรองตามตาราง หรือคลิก More options > Backup now

วิธีที่ 3: รัน Chkdsk บนไดรฟ์ภายนอก

1. บันทึก Drive Letter ที่เกิดคำเตือน (เช่น H:)
2. คลิกขวา Start > Command Prompt (Admin)
3. พิมพ์: chkdsk (drive letter:) /r (เช่น chkdsk I: /r)
4. ถาม recover files > เลือก Yes
5. ไม่ได้ลอง: chkdsk I: /f /r /x

หมายเหตุ: /f = ให้สิทธิ์แก้ไข /r = ค้นหา bad sector และ recovery /x = dismount ไดรฟ์ก่อนเริ่ม

วิธีที่ 4: ลบไฟล์ Configuration ของ File History

1. Windows Key + R > %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory Enter
2. หาไม่เจอ ไปที่: C:\Users\your user folder\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\
3. ในโฟลเดอร์ FileHistory มี 2 โฟลเดอร์: Configuration และ Data ลบเนื้อหาภายในทั้งสอง (อย่าลบโฟลเดอร์ตัวมัน)
4. รีบูทเครื่อง
5. เปิด File History ใหม่ เพิ่มไดรฟ์ภายนอกอีกครั้ง
6. ไม่ได้ ลอง rename โฟลเดอร์เป็น FileHistory.old แล้วเพิ่มไดรฟ์ใหม่

วิธีที่ 5: Format ไดรฟ์ฮาร์ดดิสก์ภายนอก และรัน File History ใหม่

1. Windows Key + R > diskmgmt.msc Enter
2. หาไม่เจอ: Windows Key + X > Control Panel > Administrative > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Disk Management
3. หา SD card หรือ USB ไดรฟ์ > คลิกขวา > Format
4. ปฏิบัติตามตัวเลือก ยกเลิกติ๊ก Quick Format
5. ทำตามวิธีที่ 2 รัน File History ใหม่

วิธีที่ 6: เพิ่มไดรฟ์อื่นใน File History

1. Windows Key + X > Control Panel > System and Security > File History
2. เมนูซ้าย คลิก Select drive
3. เสียบไดรฟ์ภายนอก เลือกไดรฟ์สำหรับ File History Backup
4. คลิก OK เสร็จสิ้น
