Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) เป็น hot topic และมีเหตุผลดี 2FA เพิ่มชั้นความปลอดภัยให้ online account โดยต้องการ second login token บนอุปกรณ์แยก รหัสผ่านสำหรับรหัสผ่าน ในความหมายหนึ่ง
2FA ทำงานต่างกันไปตาม online account ที่ใช้ 2FA มีชื่อต่างกันเล็กน้อยบางที่ นี่คือ short guide เปิด 2FA ในรูปแบบต่างๆ บน online accounts หลายแห่ง
2FA ทำงานยังไง?
Two-Factor Authentication lock account ด้วย 2 "factors" แยกกัน Factor คือ "สิ่งที่คุณรู้" (password), "สิ่งที่คุณมี" (โทรศัพท์), หรือ "สิ่งที่คุณเป็น" (fingerprint) ความป้องกันดีที่สุดคือ combine 2 factors
ถ้า account ใช้ 2 locks factor เดียวกัน = two-step authentication เช่น password และ security question เพิ่ม (ชื่อสกุลแม่สมรส, ชื่อสัตว์เลี้ยงแรก) ทั้งคู่ "สิ่งที่คุณรู้" แม้ไม่แย่ แต full two-factor authentication ปลอดภัยกว่า

Google Prompt
ตัวแรก: Google Prompt system ใหม่ แทนส่ง one-time code รับ Google Prompt บนอุปกรณ์แยก เพียง unlock โทรศัพท์ แตะ Yes unlock account
ไป Google Account > Security > ภายใต้ Signing in to Google เลือก 2-Step Verification sign in อีกครั้งด้วย password ปัจจุบัน > Try It Now ส่ง Google Prompt ไปอุปกรณ์listed
ยอมรับ Prompt จะเจอหน้าจอถามเปิด 2-Step Verification บ้างอาจถามยืนยันเบอร์ SMS ทำต่อ > Turn On
Authenticator App
บางคนชอบ 2FA system อื่น Google Authenticator app สร้าง 6-digit code login แต่ต้องมีโทรศัพท์ติด身
ก่อนเริ่ม Authenticator app 2FA ต้องดาวน์โหลด app ไปโทรศัพท์ก่อน
ดาวน์โหลดเสร็จ กลับ Google Account (เหมือนเดิม) > Security > Signing in to Google > 2-Step Verification sign in ด้วย Google Prompt ที่ตั้งใหม่ > เข้าสู่ 2-Step Verification settings
เลื่อนลงเลือก Authenticator app > เลือกโทรศัพท์ (Android/iPhone) QR code จะโชว์ เปิด Authenticator app > + เพิ่ม email > Scan a barcode scan QR code บนหน้าจอ account เพิ่มใน app ทันที
ทุกครั้ง login Google Account ต้องใส่ 6-digit Google Authenticator code
ไม่มี code = เข้าถึงบัญชีไม่ได้
ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Microsoft Outlook
ครั้งนี้ดู Outlook.com service ไใช่ desktop Outlook client Desktop client มี security อื่น เช่น password protect PST file แต่ 2FA ไม่พร้อมสำหรับมัน
Lock Outlook.com account: ไป Microsoft account page > Security tab > More Security Options ภายใต้ Two-step Verification > Turn on two-step verification > Next
เลือก: app, phone number, หรือ alternative email ในที่นี้เลือก An app เพราะ secure ที่สุด ทำงานได้แม้โทรศัพท์ offline
Microsoft อยากให้ใช้ authenticator app ของพวกเขา แต่เราจะใช้ Google Authenticator (ใช้ไปก่อนหน้านี้ ควรอยู่ในโทรศัพท์แล้ว) เลือก mobile OS > เปิด Authenticator app scan QR code ใส่ 6-digit code ยืนยัน Copy recovery code ก่อน Finish

ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Apple และ iCloud
Apple 2FA เป็น Apple-centric มาก ไม่ใช้ Google Authenticator หรือ app อื่น แต่ Apple 2FA ทำงานดี ใช้เวลาสั้น setup

ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Facebook
Lock Facebook account สำคัญเท่า email ในปัจจุบัน
ไป Facebook Security Settings > Use two-factor authentication > Get started 2 options: Text message, Authentication app เลือกไหนก็ได้
ใช้ Google Authenticator จาก section อื่นได้ scan QR code ตาม Facebook instructions
หรือใส่เบอร์โทร รอ activation code ตาม Facebook instructions
ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Twitter
Twitter รองรับ third-party authenticator apps ใช้ Google Authenticator ได้
ไป Twitter account settings > ภายใต้ Security > Login Verification เปิด SMS 2F ใส่เบอร์ ใส่ code ถ้ายังไม่ได้เปิด SMS verification ต้องเปิดก่อน enable third-party auth app
เปิด Login Verification แล้ว กลับ menu เดิม > Review your login verification methods > Mobile security app > Set up scan QR code ด้วย Authenticator app ตาม Twitter instructions
ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Instagram
Instagram 2FA 2 รูปแบบ: SMS code หรือ authentication app เพิ่ม authentication app 2018 เพิ่ม security setup ง่ายมาก
ใน Instagram app > Settings > Two-Factor Authentication > เลือก 2FA method ที่ชอบ
ถ้าเลือก "Authentication App" Instagram app จะ auto-detect installed auth app ส่ง login code เช่น Instagram account จะโผล่ใน Google Authenticator app บนโทรศัพท์
ตั้งค่า 2FA บน Amazon
Amazon account อีกตัวที่ต้องการ security ร้าย ถ้าคนเข้าถึง Amazon account ใช้จ่ายเหมือนคุณ (Amazon มี additional security checks สำหรับที่จัดส่งใหม่ แต่别依赖ที่นั่น)
ไป Amazon Advanced Security Settings > Get Started ใช้ SMS หรือ authenticator app ถ้าเลือกหล者 scan QR code ด้วย Authenticator app ตาม Amazon instructions
