Too many PIN entry attempts – BitLocker Error
เจอหลังใส่ BitLocker PIN ตอน Startup บนเครื่องใหม่รัน OEM Windows 11/10 ได้ข้อความ:
Too many PIN entry attempts. There is a limit on the number of attempts allowed. To reboot and try again, press Enter. For other recovery options, press Esc.
เกิดจาก OEM ไม่ Reset Lockout Count ก่อนส่งมอบ หรือ TPM Chip คิดว่าถูกคุกคาม จึงล็อกตัวเอง ป้องกัน PIN Entry (ที่คุณพิมพ์ผิดแน่ๆ) ไม่ให้ Unlock Drive
Workaround (ลำดับไหนก็ได้):
- ใส่ BitLocker Recovery Key
- รอ Lockout Period หมด แล้วใส่ PIN ถูกต้อง
- Reinstall OS แล้ว Reset TPM Chip
- ติดต่อ OEM ขอ Support
- Unlock Drive หรือ ปิด BitLocker: กด ESC ที่หน้า BitLocker Entry เลือก Command Prompt พิมพ์ Manage-bde Unlock หรือ Off BitLocker:
Unlock System Drive
manage-bde –unlock <DriveLetter>: –recoverypassword <Password> manage-bde –unlock <DriveLetter>: –recoverykey <RecoveryKey>
Turn Off BitLocker
manage-bde –off <DriveLetter>:
ลองขั้นตอนเพิ่มเติม:
- Reboot ใส่ Recovery Key (ต้องมี) บูท Windows
- Login Admin
- Suspend BitLocker:
Suspend-bitlocker -MountPoint "C:" -RebootCount 0
RebootCount 0 ป้องกัน BitLocker Re-enable ตอน Reboot
- Win + R พิมพ์ tpm.msc Enter
- TPM Wizard เปิด Clear TPM Chip
- Restart ตาม指示
- Approve TPM Reset – Notification จาก BIOS/UEFI
- Login Admin Prompt แจ้ง TPM Reset:
- Resume BitLocker:
Resume-BitLocker -MountPoint "C:" -Confirm
