Credential Manager เป็น "Digital locker" ที่ Windows เก็บ Credentials เช่น Username, Password, Address ข้อมูลนี้ใช้ได้บน Local computer, Network computers, Servers หรือ Internet locations เช่น Website ใช้ได้โดย Windows เอง หรือ Apps เช่น File Explorer, Microsoft Office, Skype, Virtualization software ฯลฯ

  1. ตรวจสอบว่า Credential Manager service ทำงานอยู่

1] ตรวจสอบว่า Credential Manager service ทำงานอยู่

ขั้นตอน:

  • กด Windows key + R เปิด Run dialog
  • พิมพ์ services.msc กด Enter เปิด Services
  • หา Credential Manager service
  • ดับเบิลคลิกเพื่อแก้ไข Properties
  • เลือก Manual จาก Startup type dropdown และกด Start

อาจได้ Error message เมื่อกด Start:

Windows could not start the service on Local Computer. Error 1079: The account specified for this service differs from the account specified for other services running in the same process.

ในกรณีนี้ ให้ทำดังนี้:

  • กด Windows key + R
  • พิมพ์ services.msc กด Enter
  • หา Credential Manager ในรายการ Services คลิกขวาเลือก Properties
  • ไปแท็บ Log On คลิก Browse…
  • ในช่อง Enter the object name to select พิมพ์ Network Service คลิก Check Names รอจนชื่อถูกยอมรับ
  • คลิก OK พิมพ์รหัสผ่านในช่อง Password ถ้าตั้งไว้
  • กด Start อีกครั้ง Service ควรจะเริ่มทำงานโดยไม่มี Error 1079

ตรวจสอบว่า Credential Manager Error 0x80070057 แก้ไขได้หรือยัง

2] ลบรหัสผ่านเว็บและแอปที่บันทึกไว้ทั้งหมด

ขั้นตอน:

  • กด Windows key + R เปิด Run dialog
  • คัดลอก path ด้านล่างวางใน Run dialog และกด Enter หากมี Error ให้ Show hidden files แล้วลองใหม่
C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect

ที่ Location นั้น ให้ลบเนื้อหาในโฟลเดอร์
