เมื่อเชื่อม HP Officejet Pro 8500 กับ Mac (Mountain Lion) ได้ Error: "Can't install the software for the HP Officejet Pro 8550 printer because it is currently not available from the Software Update server."
แก้ไขโดยดาวน์โหลด Driver Package จาก Apple เอง:
- ตรวจสอบว่าเครื่องพิมพ์อยู่ในรายการรองรับของ Apple: support.apple.com/kb/HT3669
- หา Driver Package: Google ค้นหา "HP printer drivers mac" → DL907 (HP) / Canon: DL899 / Brother: DL894 / Lexmark: DL1397 / Epson: DL1398 / Samsung: DL905 / Fuji-Xerox: DL904
- ดาวน์โหลด .dmg ติดตั้ง > Restart Mac
- Reset Printing System: System Preferences > Print & Scan > คลิกขวาที่พื้นที่ว่างในรายการเครื่องพิมพ์ > Reset Printing System (จะลบเครื่องพิมพ์ทั้งหมด)
- กด + เพิ่มเครื่องพิมพ์ใหม่ จะ Detect อัตโนมัติ เพิ่มเครื่องเก่าก่อน แล้วค่อยเครื่องที่ Error
ตอนนี้ควรติดตั้งสำเร็จโดยไม่ Error หากยังมีปัญหา Comment ได้เลย
