ผู้ใช้ Windows บางส่วนพบ Event Viewer ID (Service Control Manager – Error 7001) ใหม่หลังจาก System Crash ไม่คาดคิด ปัญหานี้ยืนยันว่าพบบน Windows 7, 8.1, และ 10
มี Common Culprits หลายอย่างที่ทราบว่าก่อให้เกิด Issue นี้ รายการสถานการณ์ที่อาจ Trigger Event Viewer Error นี้:
- Disabled Mandatory Services — มี Mandatory Services หลายตัวที่ต้อง Enable เพื่อให้ Computer Browser Service มี Means เรียก Dependency ทุกตัว หากไม่ใช่เช่นนั้น แก้ได้โดยใช้ Services Screen Enable Essential Services หลายตัว
- Missing Network Discovery Dependencies — หาก Event IDs ใน Event Viewer เกี่ยวกับ Network Discovery Function แก้ได้โดยรันคำสั่งใน Elevated CMD Prompt และล้าง PeerNetworking Folder
- Recent Conflicting Software Change — ตามบาง User Issue นี้เริ่มเกิดหลัง System Change สำคัญ เช่น Driver/Update Installation หรือ Unexpected Shutdown ที่ Corrupt OS Data Cure-all Fix คือใช้ System Restore คืนสถานะเครื่อง
- System File Corruption — ภายใต้สถานการณ์รุนแรง อาจเจอ Event Viewer Log นี้ หากระบบมี Underlying System File Corruption ทางเลือกเดียวคือ Refresh ทุก Windows File ด้วย Clean Install หรือ Repair Install (In-place Repair)
รู้ Culprits ทั้งหมดแล้ว นี่คือวิธีแก้ที่ควรช่วยได้:
วิธีที่ 1: Enable Mandatory Services
เนื่องจากปัญหานี้มาจาก Mandatory Services ที่ Disable หรือค้างใน Limbo State ที่เรียกไม่ได้ ควรเริ่ม Troubleshooting โดย Ensure Services ต่อไปนี้ Enable:
- DCOM Server Process Launcher
- RPC Endpoint Mapper
- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Security Accounts Manager
- Server
ผู้ใช้หลายคนแก้ได้และป้องกัน Error 7001 ใหม่โดยใช้ Services Utility Ensure Services ข้างต้น Enable ทุกตัว
- กด Windows + R พิมพ์ services.msc กด Enter เปิด Services Screen
- ใน Services Screen เลื่อนลง หา DCOM Server Process Launcher
- เจอ Service นี้แล้ว คลิกขวาเลือก Properties
- ไปแท็บ General ตรวจสอบ Startup Type เป็น Automatic เช็ค Service Status ถ้าเป็น Stopped ให้คลิก Start คลิก Apply บันทึก
- ทำซ้ำขั้นตอน 3-4 กับ Services ที่เหลือ:
RPC Endpoint Mapper Remote Procedure Call (RPC) Security Accounts Manager Server
- หลัง Enable Services ทุกตัวแล้ว Reboot เครื่อง รอ Boot ถัดไปเสร็จ
- Boot กลับมา ทำ Action ที่ก่อให้เกิด Service Control Manager – 7001 Error เดิม เช็ค Event Viewer ว่ามี Log ใหม่ไหม
หายังไม่แก้ ไปวิธีถัดไป
วิธีที่ 2: แก้ Network Discovery Dependencies
Issue นี้อาจเกิดจาก Dependencies ที่ Network Discovery Component ใช้ ผู้ใช้หลายคนแก้ได้โดยรันคำสั่งใน Elevated CMD Prompt ก่อน Clean PeerNetworking Folder ใน AppData Folder
Operation นี้ช่วยผู้ใช้หลายคนหยุดการสร้าง Event ID ใหม่กับ Error นี้ ทำตามขั้นตอน:
- กด Windows + R พิมพ์ cmd กด Ctrl + Shift + Enter เปิด Command Prompt Admin UAC ถาม ให้ Yes
- ใน Elevated CMD พิมพ์คำสั่งต่อไปนี้ กด Enter หลังแต่ละคำสั่ง เพื่อ Add และ Enable Local Service ที่ Network Discovery ต้องการ:
net localgroup Administrators localservice /add net localgroup Administrators service /add
- หลังรันคำสั่งทั้งคู่เสร็จ เปิด File Explorer (My Computer) ไปที่ Location:
C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Roaming\PeerNetworking
หมายเหตุ: หาก AppData Folder ไม่อยู่ ใช้ Ribbon บนสุด เข้าแท็บ View ติ๊ก Hidden Items
- อยู่ใน PeerNetworking Folder แล้ว กด Ctrl + A Select ทุกอย่าง คลิกขวา Item ที่เลือก เลือก Delete
- หลังลบ Contents ของ PeerNetworking Folder เรียบร้อย Restart คอมพิวเตอร์ ดูว่าปัญหาแก้ไหมหลัง Boot ถัดไป
หาวิธีนี้ไม่適用 หรือทำแล้วยังเจอปัญหาเดิม ไป วิธีที่ 3
วิธีที่ 3: ใช้ System Restore
หาก Error นี้เริ่มเกิดหลัง Major System Change เช่น Important Update Installation, Driver Installation, หรือ Unexpected Machine Shutdown วิธีเร็วคืนสถานะคือ System Restore
System Restore ให้คืนสถานะเครื่องไปยัง Healthy State เมื่อเงื่อนไขที่ก่อให้เกิด Event Viewer Errors ปัจจุบันยังไม่เกิด
จำไว้ว่า By Default System Restore ตั้งค่า Save Restore Snapshots เป็นระยะก่อน Important System Events (Driver Installations, Critical WU Updates, etc.) เพราะฉะนั้น น่าจะมี Snapshot สร้างไว้ก่อน Error นี้เกิดแล้ว
โดย ระบุ Best Restore Snapshot และใช้มันผ่าน System Restore จะคืนสถานะเครื่องไปยังจุดในอดีตที่ปัญหานี้ไม่เกิด
หมายเหตุ: จำไว้ว่าหลังดำเนินการ ทุกการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ทำหลังจาก OS สร้าง Snapshot นั้น จะหายไป
หาวิธีนี้ไม่ได้ผล หรือไม่เจอ Viable System Restore Snapshot ไปวิธีถัดไป
วิธีที่ 4: Reinstall ทุก Windows Component
หากวิธีข้างต้นไม่ได้ผล น่าจะเป็น System File Corruption ที่แก้ไม่ได้แบบ Conventional หากอยู่ใน Scenario แบบนี้ สิ่งเดียวที่ทำได้คือ Reset ทุก Relevant Windows Component เพื่อกำจัด Potentially Corrupted Elements ทั้งหมด
สามารถ Reset ทุก Windows Component ด้วย Procedure หนึ่งในนี้:
- Repair Install — ควรเป็น Preferred Approach หากวางแผนเก็บ Personal Files, Applications, Games, Documents บน OS Drive แต่ต้องมี Compatible Installation Media เพื่อเริ่มกระบวนการ
- Clean Install — Default Choice หากต้องการ Method เร็ว Refresh ทุก Windows Component โดยไม่ต้อง Insert Compatible Installation Media แต่หากไม่ Backup Data ล่วงหน้า จะสูญเสีย Personal Files, Apps, Games, Media บน C:/ Drive
