แก้ไอคอนรูปภาพ/ภาพถ่ายหายหลัง Windows Creators Update

หลัง Creators Update ไอคอนไฟล์ .jpg .png อาจหาย (แสดง Blank) แต่ดับเบิลคลิกเปิดได้ปกติ สาเหตุ: File Association/Registry Permission ผิดปกติ

2 วิธีแก้ Missing Photo/Picture Icons

เตรียม: สร้าง Restore Point

วิธีที่ 1: ตั้ง Photos App เป็น Default

1. Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Set defaults by app
2. เลือก Photos > Set this program as default
3. Reboot

วิธีที่ 2: แก้ Registry Permission (แก้ต่างหายแน่นอน)

1. Win+R regedit
2. ไป: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.jpg
3. Expand .jpg > คลิกขวา UserChoice > Permissions
4. Advanced > เปลี่ยน Owner เป็น User Account ของคุณ > Replace owner on subcontainers and objects
5. Permissions: Administrators = Full Control (Inherited from CURRENT_USER...Explorer, Applies to This key and subkeys)
6. Local Account (Computer\User) = Allow, Set Value, Inherited from None, Applies to This key only
7. หากไม่มี ให้ Add ทั้ง 2 Account ตั้งค่าตามข้างต้น
8. ติ๊ก Replace all child object permission entries... > Apply/OK
9. ดับเบิลคลิกไฟล์รูปที่หายไอคอน > จะขึ้น "An app default was reset" ไอคอนกลับมา
10. Reboot

วิธีที่ 2 แก้ปัญหาจากราก (Registry Permission) ใช้ได้กับ .png .jpeg อื่นๆ ด้วยครับ
