8 วิธีแก้ไข Windows Update Error 0x80242016

1. General Troubleshooting (ลองก่อนเสมอ)

• Restart PC แล้วลอง Update ใหม่
• ติดตั้ง Update ใน Clean Boot State
• ตรวจสอบ Internet Connection (ลองเปลี่ยน Network)
• ถอด USB/External Devices ทั้งหมด
• ตรวจสอบ Date & Time ให้ถูกต้อง

2. รัน Windows Update Troubleshooter

Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters > Windows Update > Run

3. รัน DISM และ SFC Scans

ซ่อม System Files และ Windows Image:

sfc /scannow
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

รอเสร็จ แล้วลอง Update ใหม่

4. Reset Windows Update Components

ใช้ Reset Windows Update Components Tool หรือรันคำสั่งใน CMD (Admin) ตามลำดับ:

net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop appidsvc
net stop cryptsvc
ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.bak
ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start appidsvc
net start cryptsvc

5. ปิด Third-party Antivirus ชั่วคราว

Antivirus อาจ Block Update Files ปิดชั่วคราวแล้วลอง Update ใหม่

6. ปิด Proxy Connection

Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings > ยกเลิก Use a proxy server for your LAN > OK > Restart

7. Restart Windows Update Services

Services.msc > Restart: Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS), Windows Update, Cryptographic Services

8. ดาวน์โหลดติดตั้ง Update ด้วยตนเอง (Manual)

1. Settings > Update & Security > View Update History > จด KB Number ของ Update ที่ Fail
2. ไป Microsoft Update Catalog ค้นหา KB Number
3. Download > ติดตั้งด้วยตนเอง
4. ถ้าเป็น Feature Update ใช้ Windows Update Assistant

ถ้า Windows Update ค้างที่ 91% ลอง:

• ลบ Windows Update Cache
• Run Troubleshooter
• Reset Update Components
• Run Windows Module Installer
