วิธีแก้ไข Error 'The content can't be displayed because the S/MIME control isn't available'

ปัญหานี้พบในผู้ใช้ Outlook Web Access (OWA) บน Internet Explorer ใน Windows ไม่สามารถเปิดอีเมลหรือดาวน์โหลดไฟล์แนบได้ เกิดบน Windows 7, 8, 10

สาเหตุของ Error S/MIME Control

• S/MIME ไม่รู้จัก IE 11 - หลังอัปเดต แก้ได้โดยเพิ่ม OWA ใน Trusted Sites หรือ Compatibility View
• S/MIME ติดตั้งไม่ถูกต้อง - ไม่ได้ติดตั้ง หรือติดตั้งผิด ติดตั้งใหม่
• S/MIME ขาดสิทธิ์ Admin - ต้องรัน IE เป็น Administrator

วิธีที่ 1: เพิ่ม OWA ใน Trusted Sites และใช้ Compatibility View

1. เปิด IE > ไอคอน Gear > Internet options
2. แท็บ Security > Trusted Sites > Sites ใส่ URL OWA > Add
3. ยกเลิกติ๊ก Require server verification (https) for all sites in this zone
4. กลับหน้าแรก IE > Gear > Compatibility View Settings
5. ใส่ URL OWA เดียวกัน > Add > Close
6. ทดสอบเปิดอีเมลใน OWA

วิธีที่ 2: ติดตั้ง S/MIME ใหม่

1. ล็อกอิน OWA > Options > See All Options
2. แท็บ Settings > S/MIME คลิก Download the S/MIME control
3. ดาวน์โหลด/รันไฟล์ ติดตั้งตามขั้นตอน
4. Refresh เบราว์เซอร์ จะมีแถบเหลือง "This website wants to run the following add-on" คลิกขวา > Run Add-on on All websites
5. คลิก Run ที่ Security Warning ทดสอบ

วิธีที่ 3: รัน Internet Explorer เป็น Administrator

1. หา iexplore.exe ที่ C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer
2. คลิกขวา > Properties > แท็บ Compatibility
3. ติ๊ก Run this program as an administrator > OK/Apply
4. ยืนยัน UAC ถ้ามี เปิด IE ใหม่ ทดสอบ

วิธีที่ 4: ยกเลิกติ๊กตัวเลือกใน Internet Options

1. เปิด IE > Gear > Internet options
2. แท็บ Advanced เลื่อนหา Security options
3. ยกเลิกติ๊ก Do not save encrypted pages to disk
4. Apply > รีสตาร์ทคอมพิวเตอร์ > ทดสอบ
