สาเหตุ:
- ไฟล์ Windows Update หายหรือเสียหาย (Missing/Corrupt)
- Windows ตรวจสอบ Software License Terms ไม่ผ่าน**
วิธีแก้ Windows Update Error 0x80248007
ขั้นตอนที่ 1: ลบ Windows Update Cache
ลบ Cache แล้วลองติดตั้งใหม่:
- Start → พิมพ์ services.msc** → Enter
- หา Windows Update** Service
- คลิกขวา → Stop** (รอจนหาย Running)
- เปิด File Explorer → ไป
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore - ลบไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ทั้งหมดในนี้
- ไป
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download - ลบไฟล์/โฟลเดอร์ทั้งหมด
- Restart เครื่อง → รัน Windows Update ใหม่

ขั้นตอนที่ 2: เริ่ม msiserver Service
Windows Update ต้องการ msiserver Service ทำงานอยู่:
- Start → cmd** → Run as Administrator
- UAC → YES

net start msiserver→ Enter

- Start → File Explorer → This PC
- เช็ค C: Drive มีพื้นที่ว่าง ≥ 10%
- น้อยกว่า 10%: คลิกขวา C: → Properties → Disk Cleanup → ลบไฟล์ไม่จำเป็น
ขั้นตอนที่ 5: Windows Update Troubleshooter
- Start → Settings (เฟือง)
- Update & Security
- Troubleshoot (ซ้าย) → Windows Update → Run the troubleshooter**
- รอสแกน → คลิก Apply this fix** ถ้ามี
ติดตั้งอัปเดตที่ล้มเหลวด้วยตนเอง
- รัน Windows Update → ดู KB Number ที่ Fail
- ไป Microsoft Update Catalog** ค้น KB Number
- ดาวน์โหลด → ติดตั้งด้วยตนเอง → Restart → Windows Update อีกครั้ง

ดาวน์โหลด KB4023814 ติดตั้งเอง → Reboot → Windows Update
หรือรันคำสั่ง CMD (Admin) ทีละบรรทัด:

Start → Settings → Update & Security → Windows Update
Error บน VMware Guests
VM ที่มี VMware Tools ติดตั้ง อาจเจอ Error driver "VMware, Inc. – Net – 10/17/2018 12:00:00 AM – 1.8.10.0" Fail ด้วย 0x80248007
เพราะ VMware Tools 10.3.10 เปลี่ยน Driver ให้มาจาก Windows Update แทน
