Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) เกิดได้ตลอดหลังบูท และ reboot คอมพิวเตอร์แบบสุ่ม ทำให้สูญเสียงานที่ไม่ได้บันทึก ข้อผิดพลาด stop error หนึ่งคือ – REGISTRY_ERROR bug check value 0x00000051 บ่งชี้ว่าเกิดข้อผิดพลาด registry ร้ายแรง มีหลายสาเหตุ ยากที่จะระบุเพียงหนึ่งส่วน แต่จะตรวจสอบวิธีแก้ไขทั้งหมดที่เป็นไปได้
Something has gone wrong with the registry. If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace. This error may indicate that the registry encountered an I/O error while trying to read one of its files. This can be caused by hardware problems or file system corruption. It may also occur due to a failure in a refresh operation, which is used only in by the security system, and then only when resource limits are encountered.

เราจะดูวิธีแก้ไขเพื่อกำจัด REGISTRY_ERROR บน Windows 10:
- ใช้ CHKDSK
- ใช้ System File Checker
- ใช้ DISM
- Reset คอมพิวเตอร์
- ซ่อม Windows ด้วย installation media
1. รัน Check Disk
ใช้ command line version ของ ChkDsk เพื่อทำได้มากขึ้น รัน Command Prompt as Administrator รันคำสั่ง:
chkdsk <Drive Letter>: /f /r /x /b
จะเริ่มตรวจสอบและแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาด หรือแสดงข้อความ – Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process, Would you like the schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)
กด Y เพื่อจัดตาราง Disk Check ครั้งหน้า restart
2. ใช้ System File Checker
รัน CMD as Administrator รันคำสั่ง:
sfc /scannow
รีสตาร์ทระบบหลัง scan เสร็จ
3. ใช้ DISM
เพื่อซ่อม System Image ที่เสียหายด้วย DISM เปิด Command Prompt (Admin) ใส่ 3 คำสั่งต่อเนื่องทีละคำสั่ง กด Enter:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
รอ DISM commands รันเสร็จ รีสตาร์ทคอมพิวเตอร์ และลองอีกครั้ง
4. Reset คอมพิวเตอร์
อาจต้อง Reset PC ผ่าน Settings
5. ซ่อม Windows ด้วย installation media
หากไม่ช่วย ต้อง Repair Install Windows 10 ใช้ installation media
