ผ่านมา 5 ปีแล้วหลัง Microsoft หยุดรองรับ Windows 7 แต่อย่างน่าประหลาดใจ ณ กรกฎาคม 2020 ยังมีคอมพิวเตอร์เกือบ 20% ใช้ Windows 7 อยู่ แม้ Windows 10 จะทันสมัยกว่า แต่ผู้ใช้หลายคนยังคงอยู่ที่ Windows 7 เพราะความเรียบง่ายและรันได้ดีบนฮาร์ดแวร์เก่า

วิธีที่ 1: รัน Windows Update Troubleshooter

ลองรัน Troubleshooter ก่อน วิธีง่ายและอัตโนมัติ (รีสตาร์ท service, rename SoftwareDistribution folder ล้างแคช) มีใน Windows 7, 8, 10

  1. Start → ค้น "Troubleshoot" → เปิด Troubleshooting (หรือจาก Control Panel)

หากไม่มี Troubleshooter ให้ดาวน์โหลดจากลิงก์: Windows Update Troubleshooter → รัน WindowsUpdate.diagcab ตามคำแนะนำ

วิธีที่ 2: Restart Windows Update Service

Windows Update service ควบคุมการดาวน์โหลด/ติดตั้ง หากเสียหาย จะค้าง 0% รีเซ็ต service ด้วยตนเองช่วยแก้ได้ (Troubleshooter ทำอัตโนมัติแต่ทำเองก็ได้)

  1. Win+R → services.msc → OK

  2. คลิกขวา → Restart (หรือปุ่ม Restart ด้านซ้าย)

วิธีที่ 3: ตรวจสอบ Internet Explorer 11 และ .NET 4.7 (เงื่อนไขก่อนอัปเดต Windows 7)

ต้องมี IE11 และ .NET Framework ล่าสุด บางครั้งอัปเดตได้โดยไม่มี แต่ไม่เสมอไป

  1. ดาวน์โหลด .NET Framework 4.7 จากลิงก์ Microsoft → ติดตั้ง (ต้องมีอินเทอร์เน็ต)

  1. หา .NET 4.7 ติ๊กถูกหากยังไม่ได้ → OK หากติ๊กอยู่แล้ว ให้ untick → restart → tick ใหม่ เพื่อ repair

ต้องมี IE11 ด้วย:

  1. ดาวน์โหลด IE11 (32/64-bit ตาม OS) จากเว็บ Microsoft
  2. รัน .exe ติดตั้งตามคำแนะนำ

วิธีที่ 4: ลองอัปเดตหลัง Clean Boot

แอปพลิเคชัน協力廠商อาจขัดขวาง Clean Boot โหลดเฉพาะ service/driver ที่จำเป็น

  1. Win+R → msconfig → Enter

  2. คลิก Disable All

  2. Apply → OK → Restart → ลองดาวน์โหลดอัปเดต

หากสำเร็จ เปิด msconfig อีกครั้ง Enable services และ startup ทั้งหมด → Restart ปกติ

วิธีที่ 5: ปิด Windows Firewall

บางครั้ง Firewall บล็อกไฟล์อัปเดต บางคนแก้ได้โดยปิด Firewall ชั่วคราว

  1. Control Panel → Windows Defender Firewall

ปิด Antivirus/Firewall ตรวจสอบภายนอกด้วย แล้วลองดาวน์โหลด

วิธีที่ 6: แก้ไข Security Permissions ของโฟลเดอร์ SoftwareDistribution

หาก Windows Update service เขียน log ไปที่ SoftwareDistribution ไม่ได้ ให้ Full Control โฟลเดอร์นั้นแก่ผู้ใช้

  1. เปิด File Explorer (Win+E) ไป C:\Windows หา SoftwareDistribution
  2. คลิกขวา → Properties → แท็บ Security → Advanced

  2. คลิกขวา SoftwareDistribution อีกครั้ง → Properties → Security → Edit
  3. เลือก user/group → ติ๊ก Full Control (Allow)

วิธีที่ 7: ดาวน์โหลดและติดตั้งอัปเดตด้วยตนเอง

หากทุกวิธีล้มเหลว ให้ติดตั้งด้วยตนเอง Windows Update service อาจต้องอัปเดตตัวเองก่อน

  1. ตามสถาปัตยกรรมระบบ (32/64-bit) ดาวน์โหลด Servicing Stack:
    KB3020369 (x64 หรือ x32)
  2. Control Panel → System and Security

  2. รันไฟล์ KB3020369 ที่ดาวน์โหลด ติดตั้ง
  3. ดาวน์โหลดและติดตั้ง July 2016 update KB3172605 (x64/x32)
  4. หลัง restart กลับไป Windows Update → เปลี่ยนกลับเป็น Install updates automatically (recommended)
  5. คลิก Check for updates ควรไม่มีปัญหา
